Hi Victoria_942: If your ice maker has stopped producing ice completely, please check these, in this order:
1. Your ice maker may be turned off. Look for the wire along the right side of the ice maker that looks a bit like a coat hanger. If the wire is in the raised position, the ice maker is turned off. If so, try one of these: If your ice maker has a small red plastic lever, lower it to lower the wire. If there's no plastic lever, simply lower the wire. In either case, the ice maker should begin producing ice again.
2. Also make sure that the temperature is 8 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. If the freezer is too warm, the ice maker won't cycle properly.
3. The ice maker fill tube may be blocked with ice. If so, melt the blockage using a hair dryer - but be careful to not melt any plastic parts!
4. Also replace the water shut-off valve or water-inlet valve, or both, if necessary. The ice maker head assembly may have broken parts. Look to see if the gears are broken. Check to see if

the small plastic arms that rest against the ice rake are broken. If the ice maker head assembly is modular and you've found broken parts, you can just replace it
Should these suggestions prove ineffective, I would recommend contacting an authorized service technician that will be able to assist you in the diagnosis and repair of your ice maker.

My filter let the water go slower and slower and the ice maker quit working. I replaced the filter and cycled the power on the ice maker but still won't make ice. Please help.

The temperature in the freezer has to get down to around 6 degrees. If the temperature is correct than remove cover on ice maker and see if it is moving, I may take a few minutes to actually see it move. It sounds like the filter problem may have damaged the inlet valve or ice maker or even possible both. Check to see if Ice maker still cycles. You can also check to see if the inlet valve is good by switching the hoses from water dispenser and ice maker. Press the water dispencer for a few seconds and see if it sends water into the ice maker. Any further assistance please contact me back.

My icemaker is not working... we had to disconnect the refrigerator to move it and the ice maker has not worked since we plugged it back in..

You may need to re-jump the ice-maker, with a jumper wire to get it to start, some ice-makers need this. You'll just get a piece of coated wire, with both ends twisted. There should be two holes by the ice-maker gear, stick both ends of the wire into each hole. This should re-start the ice-maker, leave it in, until the ice-maker gear starts moving by itself. You may or may not, need to hold the freezer door button in.

Ice maker does not extract ice cube's to the pan

Take a short piece of #14 insulated wire and strip both ends about 1 inch. Bend the wire into a "U" shape. Insert the stripped ends into terminals "T" and "H" inside the ice maker cover. The gear should start to move. After the gear has moved 1/4 turn, remove the jumper wire.If the heater and thermostat are good it will drop ice and refill. If not it will stall.
If the motor does not move at all or the motor stalls, replace the ice maker.
