it is a windows 98 game and might not work on xp. I have had that same problem with some of the older games. so you might want to find a updated verson so it will work on xp.but I did not find a new verson but that does not mean there is not one.
From the ground floor of the Tower, move to the left towards the door. There should be a door labeled "Map." Enter through the door by pressing the A button to access the map . From the map screen, the characters will appear near the tower. Move the characters towards the top left of the screen. There should be a town called "First Frolic" second from the left, enter this town to begin the game.
Deadeye, the problem isn't with the keyboard but with the motherboard overheating. Grab a cheap laptop cooler from geeks.com and you will find that this will keep the laptop cool enough to play a game without key creep taking over. The DV9000 laptop from HP is notorious for overheating and dying due to improper ventilation and you need a laptop cooler no matter what else you do. Otherwise your laptop could simply overheat and the solder will separate.
Go to settings > GameMusic > and keep on moving this way> until there is a bar then move that bar to the very top and wala! MUSIC haha if this helped please rep me ++
open and clean the controller pad....or buy a new one....sometimes snes joypad goes crazy with dirty inside the buttons contacts, it gives the impression that is a defective console..but in most of the time..the snes joystick need a fix !!! Good Luck!!!
