Acer A100 won't stay on one screen. It doesn't always recognize your touch, and then it flashes to the internet and then may go to the calculator, or the camera. When the back button is pushed it may or may not go to the desktop. If it does go to the desk top it will go right back to the calculator, or the maps, or wherever it chooses to go. While it's in any of the programs, it flashes in and out of different things. For example it zooms in and out and in and out of the map or moves the map across the screen, without me even touching the screen. It's as if I am touching the screen and making it rapidly do all these differing things. It's wigging out!

Go to Toshiba website and download the touchpad driver, and reinstall it again
SOURCE: where is the wireless connection button on the acer aspire 6930?
The switch for the 6930 is located just above the NumLock key. It actually looks like an LED indicator of a satellite dish, but it's not. It's the button for the WiFi enable/disable. Push it hard...
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

SOURCE: I can't kill the zoom feature on my Acer Laptop. It is a pain.
Go to Control Panel > Mouse > Device Settings > Settings > Advanced Gestures > Pinch
(or alternatively right-click the Synaptics Pointing Device icon in your taskbar and select Pointing Device Properties)
Untick the box that says 'Enable Pinch'. This will disable the zooming.
Additionally,
you might be suffering the same problem as I was which was I had no
idea how to use the zoom and that's why I wanted to lock it. Having Google stuck on too-big-to-navigate-properly or too-small-to-read for days at a time prompted me to learn. I've since decided the zoom is useful and I'm keeping the feature
enabled.
Here is what Synaptics have to say about the 'pinch' gesture:
The
Pinch gesture delivers zooming functionality in many applications. The
Pinch gesture can be used to perform the same function as a scroll
wheel on standard Windows applications that support CTRL-SCROLL WHEEL
zoom functionality.
To perform a pinch gesture, place two
fingers on the TouchPad surface. Move them closer together or further
apart. To zoom in, place your fingers on the TouchPad surface near to
each other and then slide them apart. To zoom out, begin by placing
your fingers apart and then moving them closer together.
The best zooming experience results when the finger tips of the two fingers are used for the gesture.
That will hopefully be of assistance if you want to learn how to use the zoom rather than disable it. It took some practice but I can do it now without a problem so can fix windows when I accidentally zoom on them.
SOURCE: My Acer X203HB monitor keeps turing itself off,
danny_gormle, Hi there. Your lcd display "switch-mode-power-supply" is mostlikely detecting a FAULT with itself or the "cold-cathode-fluorescent-lamp" ballast circuit (called the INVERTER) and is going into what is known as SHUTDOWN mode to try and save itself from having a catastrophic nonrecoverable failure and or FIRE and SMOKE. Get back to me after you visit YOUTUBE and search for video clips of LCD monitor Disassembly and or LCD repair! I'm sure you will find out the most common causes of your type of failure symptom. Your symptom will surely fit into the top 2 at least. After doing the YOUTUBE thing, check with Acer to see if they have a cash+old monitor swapout programme where they send you a REFURBISHED unit in return. It's that or have it refurbished locally or do repair yourself. With the words 'straight away' I suspect your from England, Canada, or The Land Down Under? I'm louie12fix on fixya or lmistyrel @ aol.com north of Chicago. Hope this helps you out a bit. please rate this response on fixya. Bye for now.
SOURCE: Acer Aspire One Netbook Touch pad mouse not working
There is a small ribbon cable that connects the touchpad to the motherboard. If there was any dramatic jostling of the system or it was disassembled for any reason it may have come undone. I have heard of this happening in the past.
If your lucky, someone just turned it off. The toggle for the mouse pad is Fn+F7 simultaneously.
Good Luck,
