Magnetek model 80 is putting out 16 volts to batteries. is that too high?

do not run any electronics there or blow it up
a charger, like that is too aggressive,
what told you 16vdc name it, best answer read DMM meter.
the sticker on the side clearly sated 13.6vdc
so the regulator inside is bad, if DMM shows 16v
that is for sure ,
run it with no load on plus lug,. who knows what is in that RV/?

spec
Voltage:
  • Input: 105 - 130 VAC
  • Output (no load): 13.6 VDC
  • Output (full load): > 12.6 VDC

No charging on a1959 MG A.

I can't rem but that a generator on that? The you need to check the gen, the regulator and the battery. Start with the battery as you need some power to excite the gen before it can make any power. If thats good and yo can run it check the gen output. The ouput will vary with rpm so as long as you have something it should be good. Next will be the external volt regulator. At a fast idle you should see about a half volt over the system rating Again not sure if that one is 6 or 12 volts. The gen and regulator can be rebuilt or replaced

THERE IS A LONG TIME AGO SINCE I DONT WORK WITH MY MICROTEST PENTASCANNER AND I DO NOT KNOW IF THE AC ADAPTER HAS AN OUPUT OF 9.VOLTS I AMP AC OR 9 VOLTS 1AMP DC PLEASE TELL ME WHICH IS THE RIGHT AC...

An AC adapter should output DC. The device should say next to the power plug what voltage input it requires. Also, check the AC adapter, it may say something like "Input 110-120VAC Output 9VDC".

I cant plug my 120v input vamp2 power adapter into a 110v output voltage regulator its dont works

I don't understand why you are plugging this into a 110 volt regulator.. If by chance you are trying to run this from 220 volt power, you DO NOT use a regulator or a converter intended to run hair driers and appliances. You need to use a step-down transformer from 220 to 110 or 240 to 120.
The V\Amp2 is a switching regulator and it will NOT like to be run from another switching regulator such as found in those cheap appliance type convertors.

Here is the type you need: http://www.world-import.com/tc-100a.htm

My Behringer XENYX 2442FX Mixer does not power up, the only light that comes on is the phantom power light. I opened it up and noticed that the switching power supply has multiple voltage outputs. We...

You should find +/-15 volts and +5 volts as well as the phantom power... but that light can come on at much lower than desired voltage.

Note that the regulators are current limited so a short on the mixer board can kill one of the voltages.... but you are not getting any input from teh switching portion of the regulator so the switching part of the supply is apparently dead. To replace the supply you would have to call Behringer at 1-425-672-0816 to get the part number and an incident number and then call FullCompass which is their part distributor now.

When working on a switching power supply, use an isolation transformer for safety and use a 60 watt lamp in series with the power cord to limit current during testing.

The circuitry will be SIMILAR to the power supply found on page 9 of schematic you can download at:

Hi we have problem with 6kva 9120 eaton ups,

Maybe you have many overvoltage situations at your area, that the UPS can't handle. It's a good idea to put before the ups an overvoltage protection or a stabilizer. Ask the manufacture for the overvoltage protection of the ups that can handle.

Yesterday I bought an STP-120 SIMA power inverter

you inverter was not fully charged because it requires a 110/220 v ac as specified in the manual; to charge it so it is impossible for the aircraft 15vdc to charge it

I am having charging issues with my V92c. last year the stater was replaced, now the bike runs good but, the battery is not fully charged. I checked the out put with a volt meter, the voltage reads...

depending how old is the battery , it could be on its way out . check one thing first ...
turn your bike on ,
turn the head light on ,
while given a bit of gas , check if the light increases in brightness .
If it does , the regulator will be ok as well as your magneto/altenator .
if it does not increases in brightness , you have to check the output from your altenator and see if the ouput is greater than after the regulator .
if the output is the same while revs are up , you have a faulty altenator .

Output of power bank 6kva ups getting interrupted intermittentiatly.

Dear,

there are several factors that can cause this kind of issue. In general, check the battery condition of your ups. Moreover, check the step up transformer that is responsible for 6KVA load.

good luck...

TV couldn't turn on. No picture

Hello,
I repaired a KP53SH30 with 6-blinks error.
Sony says the error indicated loss of or short on the 5V regulator. The 5V regulator was bad, so I looked at the 6-volt regulator (it supplies 6-volts to the 5-volt regulator input.
I found a bad capacitor on the "G" board. The top was bulged. It was in the 6-volt power supply. I replaced the 6-volt regulator, the two caps on the input, two caps on the output. I also replaced the comparator chip. I don't know what part was bad, but these parts did the trick. I bought all of the parts at Mouser for about $10.00.
If you are a techno, I can send you the service manual if you need it.
I just noticed your code is 4-blinks.
Sony says it indicates +/-15 volt not supplied, and IC8003 is faulty. Hope this helps,
Dan
