HP 6310 Scanner problem

I cannot scan using the HP 6310 It says "No scan options" refer to HP documentation. Any ideas?

Can't scan- Refer to device documentation to

Try using widows paint. Look in windows accessories off the start program menu. If you open windows paint, look for open file from "Scanner or Camera". Most likely you can get the scanner to work again in Vista. Otherwise...try Vuescan scanner software. I think you can get a free trial period online and it should also work. You'll have to pay for that if you like it.

When I try to scan, it tells me that there are no scan options and to refer to the device documentation. Can you help ?

While I do not know the operating system you are using the choice at http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=1119598 will let you get back to the original software for the unit. The print and scan driver install should trigger the system to see your scanner when it is connected.

Won't scan through network

Hi,
You need to make sure that does it print or not. If it is printer then you need to disconnected printer HP 6310 printer and uninstall hp software using printer installation disk after that reboot your computer and reinstall completed printer software.
