Hello, my infocus in104 will power up for a while (1- 5 minutes) when connected to the power supply and turned on, after that it automatically shuts down. Power button does not light red when it automatically shuts down and need to be unplugged for a minute or more before red power button will light up again.

Is a power supply fail, you need to replace the power supply, the part number is 5E.13201.002. the price is $121. Also you can repair the power supply, you need to change the TOP256YN on power supply board.

I have an IN104 InFocus projector. the whole unit cuts off without warning or any indicator lights, messages or whatnot. Says there's only 118hrs on bulb

Check the caps on the power board inside the unit. You probably need to recap it. I had that problem on one of the smaller projectors.

Infocus in104 projetor problem: power off, temp red, lamp green

Most probably failure of the thermistor or thermal fuse that detects the temperature of the lamp housing - so the projector thinks it's hot even when it's cold. Unfortunately it will need a trip to an authorised service centre for repairs

I have what looks like black sots/dust on my projected image. I thought it might have been the bulb but after replacing and cleaning the color wheel i am still seeing the "dusty" image.

Hi, I have a Infocus Projector, Model # LP70, serial # begins with ACAN. The projector only has 951 hours on the bulb. The unit powers on and I get the Infocus startup screen. as soon as I turn on a video...

I think it is the time to remove the cover and check for air filters blocked with dust.
When this happens, air doesn't flow freely through the projector and result in overheating, which leads to automatic shutdown.

My dp1000x cycles off after 4 or 5 minutes-sometimes it stays on longer and after a few minutes it will go on again

premature shutdown can be caused by ANY of the 3 fans not working or a grounding problem between the main board and power supply which is usually fixed by getting the power supply ugraded or replace entirely by a technician.

LP70 is experiencing auto shutdown if connected to a laptop

shutdown connected or not is shutdown. this is likely a grounding problem between the main board and the power supply.
