Whats up

Hi,

The color coding and wiring connections are illustrated in the owner's manual. An online copy is available for download here.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Jensen VM9510 No voices in movies

It sounds as though the unit is set up for "6-channel" surround mode, but you don't have a center speaker. That means the audio sent to that speaker isn't being heard. You'll need to get to the audio setup menu, and either turn off the 6-channel mode, or turn off the center channel option. There are two different Jensen models with the VM9510 model number, but you can download an owner's manual for either one here: http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/GenProductListCmd?type=model&catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&categoryId=VM9510&langId=-1&page=&urlString=&productId=&brand=

Memory

It sounds like the "memory" power wire is not connected. This is a separate wire coming into the stereo that is always connected to the car's battery. It is not affected by whether the keys are in the car or not. You will need to locate this wire, and ensure it is connected to an "always on" circuit in the car.
