"Print Unable 0A" indicates that a hardware malfunction has occurred.

- If the error message is "Print Unable ZC", refer to: "Print Unable ZC"

1. Power the machine off by holding down the power button. Wait a few seconds and then power the machine back on.
-If no error message appears on your machine's display, go to Step 2.
- If the error changed to "Self-Diagnostic" on your machine's display, contact brother for warranty service.
-If "Print Unable 0A" returns, contact brother for warranty service.

2. Leave the machine with power ON for 15 minutes.

- If "Self-Diagnostic" or "Print Unable 0A" returns, contact brother for warranty service..

I don't know what this error code means but I have managed to remove tapes which stuck in a VCR and cannot be ejected. Whether you do this is purely up to you, but it's usually possible to remove the casing (carefully!) so that you can get to the tape-handling section. Then it's a matter of gentle probing & trial and error to get the machine to release its hold on the tape. Look for a series of mechanically linked parts which are driven by motor but activated by a microswitch tripped by action of inserting the tape. Just don't strain the linkages and if you remove anything make a note of where it came from.

Sounds like some kind of bad wire, you hope. It could be a power issue as you have stated, I would try it out on several diffrent computers, and you were not wrong in trying the y cable. But if that still doesnt work then not all is lost. I would recomend opening up the caseing and removing the hard drive. Even external drives simply use standard laptop SATA drives. If you have a desktop you can simply plug in the drive while your computer is off, if you do not have xtra spots to plug it up you could temp unpulg your dvd drive to test it. the vcr with age has probably loosened one of the arms that pull the tape around the cylinder head and needs to be slightly tightened up to regain color, or you have a bad head

I have searched high and I have searched low for an error 10 on a BetaMax machine! The closest I can get is an error 9... Check this site for the most common errors:

BVW-75 error 09 is "threading motor time out". Look for something obstructing the travel of the threading ring inside the deck (the ring which pulls the tape around the video head).

It seems mechanical problem and you need to apart unit.
I would advice you to get Maintenance Manual of BVW-75 before to open unit and get help from mechanical exploded section.

It is high end broadcast model and needs care in maintenance.
