In order for you to change the screen size on your Westington TV you have to press on Format on your remote (it is the button between the volume and the channel, right under the input button). As you press on it, it will change the display. From
Standard: Picture is displayed in its original size.
Fill: Picture is displayed to cover the entire screen.
Overscan: Picture is scaled down to fit the display area.
1:1 Mode: Matches the incoming resolution exactly to the pixels without any scaling.
Nope. The picture resolution has to be 1080 to fill the screen completely. Using stretch and zoom will distort the low rez pictures. No option to change resolution on the TV itself.

You can fit the picture to the tv screen by clicking the buttons on the receiver. Change the setting to 1080i from 720i. It is going to work like that.
Try using your TV remote by pressing View Source. I didn't have Toshiba but my pix did not fit screen either. I used View Source on remote and it changed how the picture filled the screen.
