Igloo portable countertop ice maker stopped making ice

i had the no ice making issue , it was running water in the tray but not enough to make the ice. I call service for the machine it self and they told me to . 1. turn machine on . 2. press the select button for 10 sec. then 3. press the power button for 10 sec. and then turn off the machine and unplug it for 6 hour but I only did it for 1 hour. when I plugged it back in and started it. My Igloo ice machine was making very small unformed cubes. I tried the reset and it then started to make no ice at all. I took off the rear protective cover and blew out the water tube in both directions. I then added a small piece of pipe insulation to make sure that the water feed tube was not freezing.
