SOURCE: Sansui amp problem

This sounds like you lost the 5V supply. If you can solder, look for bad solder connections around the voltage regulator ICs. These look like transistors (3 legs) and may be attached to a heatsink. They will be marked 7805 +/or 7905.

SOURCE: NO SOUND OUT OF RECIEVER, TURN VOLUME TO MAX AND

TURN THE VOUME CONTROL DOWN TO SOMETHING REASONABLE. MAX VOLUME IS ONLY USED TO DESTROY SPEAKERS.

Unmute it, de-select Tape Monitor, de-select M.Input.

Sounds like you have a problem with your dsp circuit. You can check to see if your dsp ic is getting correct voltage.

No sound from tv when connected to sherwood 7505

try pressing the aux button on the front of the reciever while the reciever is linked up to the tv ,if that dont work connect a red and black banana plugs into your aux on the back of the reciever and on the other end of the lead must be a head phone pin check size of headphone socket. to plug in to your tv head phone volune then u can control the recievers volume through the tv using the remote.go to menu then tv set up then scroll to the sound note icon press enter scroll down click on head phone and turn it up then you should have sound through the speakers from the tv.

Turned up full volume u can only just hear sound if ear right to it was working fine then the volume just ******** out

It could be the mic plug. uniden is known for the issue where the wires inside the mix plug break at the solder joints.

When the RX wire breaks, you will loose receive because the radio will not go into receive mode. But you can usually hear it ever so slightly if you crank the volume.

Other issue that may cause this. No radio activity, (unless you hear radio activity low and not static)

poor feed line or antenna.

I would try a different mic that is known to work.

Bose 3.2.1 Volume is too low

ok on your receiver you have different settings this is not easiest to say and think and type at the same time so here goes

your reciever has different settings example sterio, mono expanded sound game sound etc.

i believe that if in wrong setting or the mpx is not on then you will get a low output of sound
also quite possible the songs were recorded at a lower output sound volume

i hope this made some sence

I have a philips cd player model# FW-C70/37, that has power going to it but has no sound coming from any of the speakers, nor will the cd changer open.

cd players work without use of volume controls coax cables hook up's and then by setting reciever to proper button so sound can come out
you might have had a power surge that fried your system but lets look at easy stuff first
fuses
lines in properly and connected
test on an old sterio with speaker hook ups and test your speakers by plugging in to old beat box
make sure wires are not scorched
turn on receiver fm see if speakers work change channels to sterio and mono settings if speakers start to work on sterio or mono setting chances are power surge blew out your system
hope this worked
