Need a lid replacement

Do you mean a West Bend slow cooker, model 85156? Note: The term "crock pot" is a brand name for slow cookers manufactured by Rival.

Other web sites listing slow cooker replacement parts indicate the lid is no longer available, nor is a lid and crock combination available.

You may choose to purchase a newer slow cooker. However, don't just toss out your current West Bend model 85156. Either dispose of it at a local electronics recycling collection center, or sell the crockery liner and the base separately through a resale website. There may be individuals who have an unbroken lid who may need to find a replacement crock and / or base. Plus, there may be some crafty person who can use the base and crock only for a project.

What are the temperatures when set at the Lo and Hi selections?

• The temperature range reached at Keep Warm - 155-170°F
• The temperature range reached at LO - 175-185°F
• The temperature range reached at HI - 200-212°F

You should be able to order a replacement lid online from the following site:

Believe or not, go to your local Goodwill Store! They have tons of crocks and the lids and the cookers separate frm each other that have been donated becase one of the pieces was broken and they donated the rest of the pieces. Lids and crocks typically range from $1.99 to $5.99 and you benefit your community at the same time.

I went to the West Bend Appliance web site and found the lid to fit my crock pot.

Try the Westbend website or replacements.com. If those two fail, try eBay.

You can get replacement parts on the West Bend website. Shipping isn't cheap, though.
