It sounds to me like the power switch is plugged into the motherboard incorrectly. I would need to know the type of motherboard you have to get you the proper schematic for hooking up the power switch and reset switch to the board. If you have the manual to the motherboard, there should be a detailed picture showing you how it is to be hooked up. Please let me know the motherboard model for further assistance.
You have installed the wrong printhead. Check the part number of your original printhead, it was probably a 300 DPI )Dots Per Inch). The image will be stretched at a ratio of 2:3. It will print, I did it the other way around installed a 300DPI in a 200DPI printer. Image shrunk but printer appeared to work.
