You don't give the model number or what you are trying to sign into? WiFi, Netflix, Cable, Parental Controls?

You may try using the power switch on the TV itself instead of the remote. I have had trouble where the remote turn on doesn't work for the video, holding down on remote button longer seem to help.

Also you may want to try another input to the TV -so connect up input wires from your cable/sat to another one.

It sounds that a software update is necessary. Contact the service centre for Panasonic, to get the latest software to this model Plasma tv.

You would need NTSC to PAL video digital converter box. Check your electronic stores that sells TV's, if not search for these online to purchase. Good luck.

If the standby light is not on it may mean that the 5vdc tsandby power supply section is dead or the 5vdc standby is OK but the main board is not working (LED's are driven by the main board).
You need to find out if the 5vdc standby power supply is working or not first. Bad caps can look normal but can have high ESR, but not likely to be bad caps in PANASONIC because PANASONIC makes good quality caps that I use for repair.

Or www.digikey.com, just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current and long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.

You have to program the remote to work with your specific model tv. If it still doesnt work after that call your cable provider and ask them for another remote.

There is one thing that we can try. With the remote, adjust the brightness of the screen. If there isn't an option to do so, check for a hard button on the TV. If you either cannot do this or it doesn't work, I suggest you contact the store you bought it from, the manufacturer, or a repair shop.

I am also having problems with the same year and model number panasonic, it is at the repair shop now. I think it is a lemon tv. won't buy panasonics anymore. Tried all the fixes recommended by panasonic. It happens after the tv is on for longer than 1/2 hour. It happens with dvds and different hook ups. my samsung is fine on all the same connections.
