I have a Kenmore Elite dryer (electric) model number 110.63032100. I was using it last night and it wasn't working anymore when I went to check on the load. When I pressed the start button it only makes a clicking sound but doesn't start. I want to call the repairman but wanted to check if it's something I can fix myself before I dish out that type of money. Any suggestions or solutions for my problem would be greatly appreciated you guys.

does it start right away or do u have to wait abour 1 hour? if so bad motor windings other wise check ur venting

Number 34 is the sensor strips located on the rear bulkhead inside the dryer. Clean them thoroughly with Windex or 409. Dryer sheets build a wax buffer on them sensors that moisture cannot penetrate. If no wetness is detected the control shuts her down thinking them clothes is did. Either that or you forgot to reconnect the sensor wire when puttin her back together Kimosabe.

How do you get to the heating element on a Kemore Elite, model # 11066962500

Check the burner tube and clean it out.

The manual says that two circuit breakers used,and that the dryer
can spin but no heat if one of them tripped, check your panel and see
if any breakers are tripped. If this was the problem,have an electrician
check the circuit.

Have your thermal fuse and thermister checked if either is open which means blown the dryer will not function. go here and enter model number www.repairclinic.com

I bet you have a blown fuse. Fuse is located on the blowers housing near where the flex pipe hooks up. Clean out the dryer, open the vent to outside and replace this fuse:

The sales rep did some cross-referencing and said I own model #11072932100. I was wondering if you can direct me to an on-line service manual so I will know how to replace the switch when it arrives.
