Freezing My ps3 freezes after I start a game on line, either the picture is black or it freezes with the picture of the control when its showing you what buttons do what. I have to either quit the game and start over or I have to shut the system down because my controller doesn't do anything. Some times my picture has a jerky motion to it . What can I do, or is this just the server?

    Every time it starts up it freezes or takes a long time to load and when I try to start a game it freezes during acitvation!! :(

If the power indicator is flashing red and green alternately.
The interior of the system has become hot. Check whether the system is being used in a hot location or whether the vents are blocked. If you use the system in this condition it will cause it to stop working. Turn the system off and leave it off until it cools down. After the ps3 cools down, turn it on again.

PS3 freezes...shows colored "specs" on screen.
This is a common problem with the PS3. sadly you cant do anything for it. The only think you can really do is to get your PS3 replaced cause sadly your PS3 has suffered dome physical damage for sure.
