I have a Cingular 8125. Last night I put the phone phone on the charger and this morning It did not turn back on. So i took the battery out, waited about 10 minutes.replaced the battery and turned it on, lasted about 5 sec. and turned back off. Can anyone help?
Thats what my phone does when the battery is dead. perhaps it did not charge last night. see if the phone will turn on while connected to the charger. if so, the battery is dead or defective.

the problem was the phone did not take the charge.so i tried jump starting the battery and now its taking the charge. 1 take a usb cable and cut off the end that connects to your phone and reviel the black {neg. wire} and the red {pos.wire} 2 connect the red to the pos.terminal and the black to neg.terminal hold for 3 min. 3 replace batttery very quickly and turn phone on and connect phone to wall charger. phone should charge now
