When I try to get a dvd to work I get "Regional Code Error" and the dvd won't play at all. What can I do?

<span>How to fix the orange screen back to normal!</span><br /><br />The other day i turned on my Philips DVD player model number: DVP5992 and the screen was orange red, instead of blue/grayish! I have tried to google the problem, but no luck. So what i did is, i disconnected the power cord and the HDMI cable and waited for like 30 min. After 30 min i plugged it back in and my screen went back to normal, being blue and gray!<br />If you have this problem, do this, and your screen will turn back to normal.<br /><br />Also if you want multi-regional code to play all regions DVD's, do this:<br /><br /> press Setup <br />select the Preference Tab (4th setting to the right)<br />keep that tab open and Press 1,3,8,9,3,1 <br />Press up/down on remote key to select "0" <br />and hit "OK" then hit setup to exit. <br /><br />good luck and enjoy!<br />Naztech<br />
