How to reset the clock?

Hello Ruth Anderson,

All mechanical... clocks (even quartz) should only ever be ADVANCED... In the springtime simply advance the clock and HOUR. In the FALL pull the plug, stop the pendulum...
QUARTZ WATCHES... Pull the winder stem out FULLY
(this removes battery...

Wait an HOUR... Plug the clocks back in... restart the pendulum
or push in the STEM on your QUARTZ WATCH...
(this restores power (and keeps the CROWN from coming unscrewed from the "winder-stem")).

Never turn the clocks backwards...
Modern clocks probably don't ACTUALLT MATTER
but antique clocks and timers can be UTTERLY RUINED
(It's just a good rule... & water RESISTANT seals happy).

Relative to the clock-face...
"FALL BACK - SPRING FORWARD"
SPRING = FORWARD ... advance the hands an hour.

Technically "time change" only ever occurs between
1am and 2am during each time zones respective hours...!!
Even on QUART
Hope this helps!

Keeps rejecting any cd inserted spittinf it out

Hello
The CDs you inseting is not loading properly into the mechanism. Check its loading belt. If loading belt is loose, thie tyep of fault will occur. Check the loading motor also. If the pulling power of loading motor go less, the discs will not load properly and will ejected out as it loaded into. There is no other possiblilities other than this to check. OK.

What does Error 1 mean?

Error 1 - Indicates time card stuffing. If an individual tries to force a card into the unit, the 4000/4000HD will accept the card but will not print or store any payroll data. If this situation occurs, an ERROR 1 will show on the front display and the card will not be "punched".

Solution: Rerun the time card through the time recorder without pushing on the card.

Curtis and Co. Big Time 3 zone watch w/ temp gauge. What does the stem positioned at aprox 10 O'clock control? It is near the temp guage but does not seem to control anything.

Crown(stem) at 10 O'clock has air inlet for temperature, does not move. Crown at 8 O'clock is for setting 3rd time zone next to it. The two buttons on the right of the case, above and below, set 2nd time zone which is at the 6 O'clock position of the large dial. To set #2 push top button till min. hand moves 1 min., then push bottom button to move 1 min each time or hold for rapid movement. Large crown sets date and large dial. Unscrew it (counterclockwise) then pull out to first click, then set date turning crown clockwise, continue to pull out till 3rd click which is where you set the time on the large dial.

Need instructions on 'programming' my Sharp SPC900 Atomic Clock. It has lost sync with the satellite and didn't automatically catch up with DST.

I don't know about your atomic sync problem. But here is how you can set the time zone:

Push the Time button once. This will change the Month/Day window to Alarm 1. Push the up button until the desired time zone is reached. Push the Time button twice more to return back to Month/Day display.

I have a forestville wall clock with the pull down weights. when it chimes it is behind in time. example nine oclock chimes seven oclock, it is a made in germany clock but what year i do not know. there...

Stop the pendulum of the clock exactly at any even hour. Lets say at 6.00. While clock is steady and not working, pull off the minute and hour hands off the pinion, but do not brake them. You have to pull without any twisting action. This will leave pinions exactly in place they were when you stopped the clock. When it is done - push the hour hand back onto the pinion and make sure it is pointing at 4 (not 6, as it was when you stopped the clock). When hour hand is back in place and pointing at 4, push back minute hand as it was when you pulled it off - pointing at 12. Make sure hands will not catch when passing each other (you can bend them slightly if needed). Now swing pendulum to start the clock and adjust time (clockwise only). Never adjust time when clock is chiming. Rate me, plz.

Mouse won't synch with USB

It may be that the mouse is turned off. Try pushing the inset button on the back and the scroll dial at the same time. This turns the mouse on or off and saves battery life. Then push the inset button on the back and the USB receiver button on the end at the same time and it should connect yout to the computer.

Adjust the date and day on a festina 3 dial watch

I've just worked it out! Change month....depress inset button on side above hand winder. One push with cocktail stick or similar will advance month. Change date.....pull out hand winder half way, turn knob anti-clockwise until desired number is met. Change day...... pull out hand winder fully, turn clockwise passing midnight repeatedly until day is set, continue to set time, keeping an eye on 24 hour display for am/pm.
All the best, Bob
