RCA F32650 Bad Circuit Board

I already figured out that my flyback transformer was bad, this is an ongoing problem with a lot of RCA CRT televisions because RCA used very cheap parts in order to save them more money, rather than making there customers happy with good quality parts, and my TV was made in MEXICO, and that my friends is why we the American people are getting screwed. (Shame on you RCA)

The deflection board is part of the Main board and is not available---you do have an option---contact PTS Electronics--get a quote from them----they repair/rebuild all kinds of circuit boards---This set was made around 2002 and it is not unusual that boards are not available for it any more---someone in the chat should have known this and told you.

contact the store and explain that the rebuilt board is not the same have your model and chassis numbers on hand

your hori out put is proably shorted,which means you have no high voltage, also your flyback transformer could bad.

you don't need a convergence board the one you have could be fix the only problem is the alignment is not that easy and won't cost $ 500 unless you live in alaska and worth fixing it today you just get bad set made in chi???

you dont need a new board just replace convergence ics that would be the way to go will cost you under 75.00 if you do it your self if you take it in it will cost you 250-350 depending on the shop

if you are having sound your problem is on the video circuit or related circuit.if no sound on video no power have your tech check the power supply and related circuit.good luck.

could be a bad solder connection or maybe the CRT socket has come off slightly. I lean more to a bad solder connection at the flyback area screen G2

This could cause a problem, because modern TVs and most other entertainment electronic goods, have a small kind of computer chip, but there should be a Reset button probably inside the set! If you feel confident about computer chips you may be able to find the button by tracing the circuit.(Disconnected from the mains). Another idea is if there is a small button cell or battery inside, then try disconnecting it for a day. Good Luck!
