Look below I have a remmington kerosine space heater model 60.Starts runs fine for 10 mins ,then shuts off. up plug for a min. plug in and it will restart and run fro about 5 min. then shut off again...Any help?

Jump the 2 yellow wires together if it stays running replace high limit switch under hood against the chamber

Sounds like the module inside the distributor. Have to be replaced.

Sadly, light duty machines as yours do overheat and shut off. Shredders are rated for run time. An example: 4 min run time with 60 min off to cool down. I could not find your machine's rating. However, given the 10 page volume I would guess the rating close to the 4 min on.
High volume shredders are rated as continuous run. They should never over heat.

i have same issue

check the photo eye. It's the little rubber boot on the bottom right on the back side of the burner. If it's dirty, it may not be shutting off the igniter. If the igniter runs continuously, the safety breaker will trip.

What is the model number? Could be a number of things, depending on which technology is used on your particular 55,000 btu heater.

check for proper pump pressure. Restricted fuel flow. Proper venting of fuel cap.
