If your refering to the Walbro carb and the little red anti tamper caps then they can be a pain. If you look carefully they have a little tab that sticks out of them and this must line up with the cut out on the carb in order for them to be removed. I use a pair of long nose pliers to take them out, but if you're not fussed about putting them back on then just keep unscrewing the tuning screws, They will eventually break the caps and come out with the tuning screws.

SOURCE: husky 350 chainsaw idle to high

First there is an throttle idle screw that adjust the amount of throttle at idle try turning it ccw until it idles down. If this adj is at its lowest level then adjust the L screw until you get the idle you want. Then try to rev up it should rev up without hesitation if not hold down on throttle untill you get max rpm it it tries to cut out etc. at high rpm adj. the H screw until you get max rpm. then adj your L screw again for proper idle. You may need to do this back and forth for awhile until you get max. performance.

SOURCE: muffler screws are stripped out of husky 350

Most chainsaw shops will install a Helicoil cheaper than you can buy the tools. If I am not mistaken this is a common problem on that saw. Husky dealer might be best option.

I have a husky 61 that I think was made in 1981 how would I take the carburetor off?

Not too difficult, remove the top cover, 3 screws, remove the air filter, 2 screws on the later filter, 1 single screw on the early filter, remove the fuel hose and blank off with a suitable bung, gently pry the choke out of the choke shaft ( this is a bayonet style fit ) remove the throttle wire by pring it up and out of the throttle lever, now use a 4mm allen key to remove the two carb securing screws, you will need a short allen key to remove the lower l/h screw, the carb will now come away be carful not to lose the gasket, the induction block will also come away from the back of the cylinder. there will be another gasket here., all these components will have to be aligned to re fit the carb.

Briggs &Stratton Samp; Stratton sarp mower Lawn Mower belt broken, need to replace but cant remove plasic cover to get to engine drive area

if it is a bolt you have to get it out. if there is a nut on top use wrench on both ends. you may have to break it to get it off. drill out and put new one in. some mowers have a plastic plug that holds them on. clean it real good. let soak in screw loose for an hour or so see if that helps.

They can be found on Ebay. I have bought many parts for Huskys and other brands there. If not, try Amazon.

Cant remove screen seems glued on hp pavillion dv5 1007

ummm, i'd doubt that it is glued unless you had the screen repair previously by a shoddy repair shop. First of all normally the screens are held in place by screws that are hidden by little rubber bumper covers or some type of covering on the plastic that is around the screen. Use a safety pin or small flat head screwdriver to remove the covers and expose the screws. Then use a phillips head screw driver to remove the screws. Once all the screws are removed use your fingers to slide along the inside of the plastic around the screen and pry it loose from the screen.

Brand new Huskie 450e used for two days and the throttle is now broken. The actual trigger itself feels like it isn't attached to anything anymore. Is it an easy fix?

In the 400 series of Huskies I have fixed, the handle comes apart with several screws. Sounds like the simple problem might be in the handle/trigger assembly. The more complex problem is if the throttle linkage rod popped out of the throttle. The outside trigger interacts with a black plastic insert and spring that provides pressure outward to keep the throttle low. This assembly connects to a thin metal rod that looks like the path a drunk would take doing a sobriety test after too many martinis. The rod goes into the housing and connects into a hole in the throttle assembly, then is locked in place with a plastic piece that slides down to keep the rod from falling out. In order to see this area, the cover needs to come off. I'll be honest. The last one I had, the rod fell out of both ends. It took me two days of pondering, playing around, cursing, getting up and walking away, then coming back to finally figure out where the ends went. The blue plastic piece had slid down, covering the hole, so I was at a loss as to where it attached to the throttle. NOTE: When removing the handle, try real hard to keep it together until all screws are removed. THEN VERY CAREFULLY begin to take it apart, looking in from the top of the handle. You might get one good glimpse of how the parts fit together before they fall apart on you. Husky does have a good website for exploded view diagrams, but sometimes they leave a little to be desired for 2-Dimensional art vs. 3-D Reality. Good luck.

The pin that you screw in the tension bar fell into the body and I can not get it out.

The covers on the Husky come out in several sections with recessed larger screws. If removing the cover and bar don't give you access to where the screw fell, try the other covers. NOTE: Make sure you put the exact screws back where they came from. Some saws have different lengths, but I believe Husky is smarter than that and made them all the same.

How do i take the oil tank off a 41 cc husky chain saw

I guess we are talking about the Husqvarna 41/141, start by removing the guide bar and chain, remove top cover, disconnect and remove the throttle wire, remove the fuel hose from the carb, use a 4mm allen key and remove the front anti vibration rubber screw ( drive side, bottom front r/h, holding the alloy chain catcher ) now remove the top anti vibration rubber screw with a cross head screw driver ( top l/h holding an orange plate ) now remove the four screws securing the starter cover, two screws are into the plastic crankcase, and two are into the anti vibration rubbers, the fuel tank should now pull out from the bottom of the saw withe top handle still connected, make sure the fuel hose feeds out of the crankcase as you pull the tank away.

Ford f-350

You have to remove the door handle arm rest. they have screws. check for small, round "covers" that may have screws hidden under them. You can easily but gently pry those off. then remove any screws.remove the window switch or handle. These have clips on the underside . You may have to pry these loose. Then you start removing the door panel by using a large svrewdriver or other flat tool. and start prying the panel a little at a time starting from the bottom. they too have plastic clips so be gentle and try to get as close to the plastic clip as you can to remove it.
