Washer seems to work fine. Doesn't leave water in tub and does spin pretty fast by the sound & vibration of it. But after last spin cycle, clothes are too wet. Not dripping by any means but way too heavy with water. I can reset back to last spin and do it again and the clothes feel like the normal wet. Clothes are too wet on all cycles, Delicate, Colors and Whites. The timer makes a buzzing noise but I can't figure out how to get the front knob off. I was going to check to see if it was loose. I was also going to check and see if the water pump was clogged but have no earthly idea where it is located and how to get to it. I need step by step directions in anyone can help.
Front loading washers are notorious for not spinning the water out of a small load of clothes. This is because there is not enough clothes in the washer to balance the tub during the spin cycle.
Try washing a slightly larger load with a minimum of six items or more. This is one of the downsides to front load models and no specific brand is immune to the problem.
Testimonial: "Sorry, forgot to mention that washer is a top loader. I figured it out myself, the belt was slightly stretched with age so I put on a new one. I looked online for video's on How To and changed it myself and also watched a video on How To clean out the pump. Everything was fairly easy. Plus, I had to do the opposite of a larger load that you suggested, probably because it was a top loader. I put 4-5 pairs of pants and with that new belt, they felt almost dry at the end of the spin cycle. Thanks for all the suggestions everybody!"
Most modern washers have an out-of-balance sensor that prevents the basket from spinning too fast if the load is out of balance. A common cause of an out-of-balance condition is extremely small load size, whereby there are not enough clothes in the basket to allow for a balanced load.
Try washing larger loads to see if this corrects the problem. Modern appliances are great, but nonetheless some can have their down sides. I hate to say it, but if washing with only larger loads 'corrects' the problem, it's pretty much a normal condition. Kind of a 'downgrade' if you ask me, but the out-of-balance sensor is there to protect the machine from damage if the load is severely out-of-balance.

SOURCE: Washer spins but not enough to extract water from clothes or tub.
Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
Rate me pl.....if helped.

Mine did the same thing. Solution. I took it back to the store where I got it. Fortunate for me they gave me my money back. Now I am looking for another one. What a nightmare. There is nothing that has a consistently good recommendation except Miele. Where I live they are not available. Well!! We could always go back to the scrub board. je

My washer does this too and I called Maytag and was told it was normal. I don't like that answer, though.
