Frigidaire oven is 5 1/2 years old. The ceramic cooktop works fine. All numbers/times are displayed. I hear buzzing for speed bake, but the oven is still cold. I noticed a couple of months ago that certain foods in the oven took a lot longer to cook. Now the oven doesn't heat at all. What could be the problem?

All retail for around 207.00 each. This is actually a fairly easy job also! I would look for the local Frigidaire parts center in your town versus ordering it online what if it comes broken? That would **** and ruin your day. I always inspect these carefully when I pick them up at our local parts house, as manu times they get chipped and dented or cracked in transit.

Is the clock set?
In mine - the clock has to be set - or it won't work;

Try changing out the regulator for the stove. Does the flame seem weaker than it used to? If so, your regulator is probably going out and the gas you smell is the residual leaking out when the stove is on.

TEMP. LIGHT, ON-OFF LIGHT,AND FAN WORKS. BUT NOT THE OVEN. THE DAY IT QUIT, THERE WAS A LOUD POPPING NOISE THAT CAME FROM THE OVEN. BURNERS STILL WORK. LOVE THE STOVE..BUT HAD A TECH-CHECK IT OUT..HE THOUGHT IT WAS THE CONTROL PANEL, TECH SEEMS TO THINK THAT THE STEAM FROM THE POTS WENT IN BACK OF THE STOVE..FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND IT IS VERY COSTLY TO HAVE IT FIXED. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. AT THIS TIME I WOULD NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE LIKE IT. THANK-YOU [email protected]
