Vehicle does a quick **** when driving - on occassion
I first noticed it when I was driving about 60 MPH and it just jerked like it was going to die or something. Then it continued to run normal. The next day it happened about 6-7 times in a 30 mile stretch of highway. It then happened going through town at about 45 MPH a few days later. I am wondering fuel filter, injectors, transmission? Maybe bad gas?

I have noticed my car Jerks when shifting after i come to a stop after driving on a fairly long road at high RPM's... It doesn't do it all the time like I said the only time I have noticed it is while driving for about 10 miles at about 60 mph.
Check for bad fuel, but it sounds like it might be spark plugs or spark plug wires breaking down and cross firing or missing. If it is electrical you should have a rougher idle also.
If the car has no Check Engine light, and it operates well at all other speeds, then I have a question to ask.....have you had the vehicle for a while and is this a speed range that you drive at consistently for extended periods of time? I say this because if you drive at consistent speeds for long periods you can actually wear a dead spot in the throttle position sensor (TPS). This will cause a drop-out at the point of the dead spot which feels like a jerking motion.
You should start with the basics, are you getting fuel and air to the engine and spark at the plugs?
Is the battery being charged? When did you last change the fuel filter? Does the car still start and run?
90 % of the time jerking or vibration is usually caused by the engine and not the transmission. The most common cause is cylinder misfiries caused by the ignition system that cause the vehicle to ****, stumble, or shudder which make it appear and feel as though the transmission is the cause. Most transmission problems will cause harsh shifts, slippage, and/or delayed engagement but rarely jerks or vibrations. I'd start by looking at the spark plugs, plug wires, and coil packs to make sure they are all ok first before going any further. The reason most of these problems are more noticable over 50 mph is that the torque converter clutch is engaged at this point and it provides a solid connection between the engine and drivetrain which makes engine misfires more noticable. i would take a good look at the fuelpump, this sounds like its loosing preasure at times,you said the dealer looked at it so i guess there are no codes stored in memory of the computer,i would take a shot and replace the fuel pump,
I think it was bad gas. I filled up at my regular station and it has not done the jerking since.
