My Pinnacle Pro 901 is set to print using black ink only but it keeps telling me I need to replace color cartridges and won't print.

You won't be able to print if one of the cartridges is out of ink. The printer needs all cartridges with sufficient ink levels to prevent damaging the printhead.

Every time a cartridge is replaced, all colors are primed simultaneously thus the need for all cartridges to have ink.

Canon mg6120 cyan won't print,

  • I had the same problem. Here's what I did to fix it:
Unplugged the printer 2x. On the first try I just plugged it back in and still had the problem. The second time I took all of the ink tanks out, unplugged it (with the power still on, don't know if this makes a difference, but that's how I did it) then plugged it back in. The printer said that it couldn't detect any ink. I reinstalled all ink tanks, and a message said that it had been shut down improperly. Press ok to continue. I test printed a picture with a lot of blue in it and the picture came out true to the exact color of the picture.
That's what worked for me. I hope it works for anyone else with the same problem.

Why won't my Lexmark 5600- 6600 Series Printer print in color?

It could be the print setting on the application where you're printing from. Before you send your print job and hit "Print" button on your computer, check in the Printing Preferences and make sure it is not set to print "Using black ink only.".

My office jet G85 won't print. No error messages appear,it has a new color cartridge,it copies, but won't print from my computer.

If it copies ok, then the issue is either the way it is cabled to computer or the print driver software settings on pc.... How is it connected via USB? Check port and correct driver is in windows/control panel/printers. Reinstall.

I want to print using my lexmark X6170 but I don't want to print color so I didn't put a color cartridge in. It keeps coming up with an error message and won't print at all.

Some printers require you to have the color cartridges in them even when you are printing black and white. You usually can in your print options choose black and white over color.
