Main processor [CPU] do not detect all the other peripherals. Any voltage loss can cause this. Your PCs motherboard need to be checked. It will be best to contact the authorized service centre for Sony; in this case. This is not a user detectable fault. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
You may not have the correct type of fan for this to work. Typically, you need a three or four pin fan (you will see three or four wires on the plug) for fan speed control to work correctly. If you only have two wires, your fans do not have speed control functionality.
You can also have another issue. If you do have a three or four ping fan, you may not have it connected to the correct fan headers on the motherboard for it to work correctly, or you may have it connected to an external fan controller.
if the fan is not working first you have to test the smps remove the smps connector from the motherboard and short the green and black pin it he smps fan is working then the smps is fine coneect the smps connector to the motherbord and switch on the computer still not working then remove the four pin connector from the smps and restart your computer if irts working the problem is in your motherboar
Open cpu cabinet. Refix RAM memory. Clean dust from all parts. Reattch ATX power connector from smps to motherbord. Pull cmos cell from motherbord for 10 minutes so all settings are defaults. REmove pci cards from pci slot of motherbord then check. Open processor fan and processor then refix both. Make sure motherbord not ground with cabinet cover. Then check if still problems then change ram .check RAM and motherbord separately .
First open cpu cabinet. Refix RAM memory on motherbord. Clean dust from all parts. Remove PCI cards from motherbord. Open processor fan and processor then refix both. Pull CMOS cell from motherbord for 15 minutes so all settings defaults. Make sure your motherbord not ground with cabinet. Then check. If processor and circuit are heat high then put extra fan in cabinet. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks.

nice comp...
I had the same problem with my 9000...sounds like a plane taking off...lol
if its been a while, and im sure it has.. unplug tower and open the case...im sure there is alot of dust in there...its disgusting how much dust a comp gets inside...either use compressed air from a compressor or you can use a couple of cans of keyboard cleaner to get the dust out...do this outside your home as there will be alot of dust flying around....blow everything possible, from heat sink on CPU to the power supply and your video card, cooling fan and vents and anywhere else you see dust...hopefully that will keep you cool enough...
if not you will have to put a new fan on your CPU
First reattach all connection top motherbord. Refix RAM memory. Pull cmos cell for 15 minutes from motherbord so all bios settings are reset. heck your power supply unit of computer working fine.
have try to reset bios if not u have to reset bios. Pullcmos cell for 15 seconds from mohter bord also u can reset bios with jumper settigns it is near cmos read carefully on motherbord u can find jumper u can see "clear cmos " on motherbord
