I bought Avid Studio to use on Windows 7 a while ago, but things didn't turn out right and I ended up taking it off my computer and returning it. The Avid program I bought came with a Pinnacle Creative Pack Volume 1 disk which I also installed but now I can't seem to get it off. I get an error saying "2343.Specified path is empty". Would I have to reinstall Avid to take it off or is there something else that will help?
Go to your control panel , find programs ( installed program etc) scroll down the list of installed programs and find the offending program
high light it and click uninstall
there may be 2 programs but they will be have the same icon at the beginning of the line
the installer wizard will take over and remove the complete program

The CD is defective. Get another CD and try it. I was having the same problem. I browsed the CD because I wanted to install just the Scan Snap manger. I discovered that the CD ROM could not read that part of the disk, so I tried the installation from another CD disk, and it worked like a charm.

Try deleting all the files from the Photoshop folder in the Adobe folder in Program Files.
Then download a free program called ncleaner. just type ncleaner into google. after you install it, run it and press the Clean System button, then Clean Now. Just click yes when it asks you. Then click back to the main screen, and click find junk. that should get rid of any leftover files from the photoshop install.
