The S700 doesn't have a date print function (so that the date appears on the image). Are you printing yourself, or having a lab print the photos for you? Some inkjet (home) printers can print the date on the image or on the border. Many labs (my Fuji Frontier digital lab, for instance) can print the date on the print for you, as the data is contained in the file data. Ask at the lab counter. They also shouldn't charge for this service, as it's a one-button operation.

Fuji finepix S1500

The camera won't deface your photos by scrawling a string of numbers across them. However the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo editing program should be able to display this data and overlay it onto the photo.

To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

How to print date on photo - finepix s5600

Go into the settings of the camera and look for anything called "Date/Time Stamp." Enable this setting and the date will be printed on every picture. Be careful, though. Date/Time Stamps are not easily removed so make sure you want it on whatever you are photographing.

Hope this helps.

How to print date stamp on photos

Navigate the menus in the camera. One of them gives you the option to use the time/date stamp or not. Remember, each different menu section gives you multiple areas that you can adjust and change settings.

Date & Time Stamp

The date is printed on the photos using the "pict bridge" software. The date printing option is set on the computer, not the camera. If the printer has it disabled or it is a printer that doesn't support it, you won't get the date.
