Can any one help? i just bought new bike (yamaha ttr250 1999) and the battery is not getting charged up. i have to take the battery out and charge it with a charger because it doesnt charge its self.. any ideas? could it be the r/r? and whats a C.D.I unit? also does any one know were the best cheap place to get the parts i need is?

Almost always, your described problem indicates a charging issue. This points to the bike's battery not charging. Suspects
would be:
A CDI is a capacitive discharge ignition. This is an electronic module that fires the ignition coil.
Parts would depend on where you are. Often, other riders would provide information for parts source.

hiya i bought a honda cbr 125 and my battery doesnt charge either i have replaced the voltage regulator but it still doesnt charge
got new battery after xmas only lasts about 4 days and is flat does not seem to charge off the bike running and my headlight is very dim is all the power going to my lights ??
