You can try to adjust the touch screen > press the yellow clear button then 1993 & press the stop button three times & follow the display screen. Odds are you are going to have to replace the touch screen, the adjustment will not last long....Good Luck
Thats a Norcold compact fridge. The most likley problem would be the thermister. Need to do an ohms reading. From inside of the fridge remone the thermister from the fins and unplug the wires. With a VOM set it on Ohms, touch the wires with the probes/ does not matter which probe to wire/ hold the bulb end of the thermister between your fingers, your reading should stat at about 7000 Ohms. Stick the bulb end of the thermister in a glass of ice water, reading should start climbing and go to about 22000 Ohms. If this happens the thermister is good and you need to look elsewhere. If it does not test out you need to replace the thermister. The thermister is a thermostat that controls the heat source that makes the fridge cool. If the thermister reads good you may want to get the circuit board tested. Hope this helps Thank you for using Fixya Jerry
To reset error, enter SP mode by pressing: Clear (yellow) button, 1 0 7, and press and hold the Stop (orange) button for 3 seconds then switch off and on the copier.
If the error is still there, please check the following in the fuser unit;
Check and clean or replace the possible defective thermistors or out of position.
enter the [user tools/counter] then before you press [system settings] hold it down pressed the [#] key and while the [#] key is pressed press the [system settings] key (on the touch screen or if dose not have touch screen than press ok) and the copier will return the settings to default. You can repeat the procedure for all settings.
SC552 means that the pressure roller (Lower roller in the fusing unit located in the left hand door of the machine) is not warming up correctly. Is the copier installed somewhere cold? i.e. a garage? If conditions are ok and damp is not a problem, either the thermistor that controls the pressure temperature is defective, or the lamp that warms it up is defective. They are the two more common problems, might be worth looking for one on ebay. However they are approx 250 pounds so if you can find a second hand one thats cheap for spares I would recommend that. Email me if you have to do this and I will talk you through changing the parts.
SC552 is a pressure roller warm up error. It didn't detect the right temperature when it was turned on.
Turn the copier off for 30 seconds and then turn it back on again. If the error message returns, a technician should look at the fuser section to see whats causing the problem.
