Hello there, I have a laptop with a 2.3 GHz processor (Lenovo v570). Is there any way to upgrade it?

Your laptop uses the Intel HM65 Mobile chipset, for the motherboard chipset,

Nehalem Architecture,
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/535
Your CPU (Processor), and the ones listed; are based on the Sandy Bridge architecture.
The Nehalem architecture started the ball rolling.
The Sandy Bridge architecture is evolved from it.
NanoMeter - 1 Billionth of a Meter
Abbreviated as nm.
Architectural size went from 135nm, from Processors back in the old days; to 22nm now.

Plus the Intel Core i processors are a whole different 'ball of wax'.

I'm afraid you're out of luck, the motherboard is not capable of taking a dual core processor. Your only option would be to consider selling the laptop and buying a new one that already has a dual core processor installed.

The drivers for lenovo y410 will not work for your laptop.
In fact most of the XP drivers at the above link were available since December 2007
Hope this helps.
