Forward emails from Yahoo account

You should be able to forward the email to whatever new email account she is using even if it is not her account. You need to know her her old and the new email address. Just where that is in a menu depends upon whether it is Outlook email, Yahoo email, Google Gmail, or whatever email services she is using. You just need to be sure you send it to her new email address and not all of her contacts. You will clearly see who it is going to in the TO: field.

But If she uses a Yahoo account you do not have to send anything. She can log into her email just by supplying her user name and password. Her mail is not on her computer but on a server on the internet. That is true if she uses gmail or hotmail.

If you Google "How to forward Yahoo email" (replacing Yahoo with whatever service she is using), you should get simple instructions of how to do the procedure.

First of all, create a Gmail account, if possible.

Log into Yahoo mail at mail.yahoo.com

Find the forward email settings on Yahoo

Type in your new Gmail account and save.

Now all email to your yahoo account will be forwarded to your Gmail account. You will still have a copy of your Yahoo mail if you checked to keep a copy of the Yahoo mail on the Yahoo servers.

Forwarding your email is great until people learn your new email address, but it is not necessary.

Good day, in regards to your question you just need to follow these steps.

1. Go to options located on the upper right side of your yahoo mail page.
2. Choose pop and mail forwarding
3. then type the email address where you want to have the yahoo emails to be forwarded

note: make sure that you have yahoomail plus! These feature is not available in yahoomail classic

Unfortunately, the only way to get native push email from Yahoo is with a Yahoo Plus! email account, which is $20 a year. However, a workaround solution would be to forward your incoming Yahoo mail to a Gmail account. That way, you will get all your Yahoo mail without having to pay for a Plus account. You will need adjust the mail application's POP settings to get your Yahoo! Mail messages into it.

POP access is a service for owners of one of the following:

Yahoo! Mail Pop Access & Forwarding
Yahoo! Mail Plus Premium Services
A Broadband account
A Small Business account

Please note that access to IMAP servers is not available.

To use an email client or application to send and receive Yahoo! Mail messages, you may need to designate a new incoming (POP) mail server and a new outgoing (SMTP) mail server. Consult your owner's manual for instructions on designating servers in the email application.

If more than 24 hours, and the Trash folder has been emptied, there would be no possible way to retrieve deleted emails.

Try to make a habit of NEVER emptying your Trash folder. The emails in that folder are deleted periodically by Yahoo!, so there's no reason for you to take that step.

From the list on the left, click POP & Forwarding, then in the middle of the page click Set up or edit POP & Forwarding.
In the bottom half of this page, click inside the circle next to "Forwarding". Then enter the email address in the blank and click "Save."
Zing! – your mail now gets forwarded to that email address.
