On the display, check to see if there is a tools selection,
I believe "1111" is the code to get into it.
check to see if there is a aditron mode.
Select it and see if you can enter account numbers for each person or department. If you can you can enter amount of copy limits you can assign to the user or users
Most machines have a electronic aditron book in the bottom of the machine.
Good luck.

My sharp copier is having paperjam i have all tray still it still occur

OK!! this is a bit tricky because you didn't specify the jam location or locations and I am not really sure of what you actually meant regarding the trays....Try this:

If the paper is jamming in the trays - meaning it might not feed at all...when removing this please make sure there is no paper inside the paper pick unit or assembly area.

Under the Manual Feed Guide there is an access ( a small door ) where most operators overlook, open this and see if there is a paper jam in place.

For the rest of the machine area, the small screen on the operational panel should indicate where the jam is.

CAUTION: Call a qualified tech rep to help you as certain areas of the machine are extremely hot and also to prevent accidents.

I want to get some help about canon np6050 error

Hello jig,
I wish to help you quickly as you are down. I dont have immediate access to the older analog service manual and Canon no longer keeps it on their website. However, E005 has been a common error code for many products, if not all. It means that the cleaning web (which is an item that is "used/consumed "normally as the copier is used.) has run out.The copier should have been diplaying (in small letters on the dispay) "WEB LOW" for quite a while. It needs a new cleaning web.An untrained end user could change this but without instruction most people would not be able to. Its located in the fuser area onder a yellow cover. I bet you can do it !

Paper jam message does not clear after paper jam has been removed

Paper jams can be tricky to solve. The paper is usually stuck inside the printer mechanism so even if there is no visible paper jam, you will still get the paper jam error. Try this:

1. Turn off your copier
2. Open all trays and remove any paper stuck there
3. Locate the button to open the printer, open it and remove any paper stuck there also.
4. Repeate the above step for all buttons that you can find to access the inside of the copier
5. Close all doors and put back all trays
6. Turn on your copier

Keeps telling me to close upper side panel but nothing is open? we moved copier to onther location and now on the led screen it reads close upper side panel but I cant see anything open and it wont copy

I presume you have removed and reinstalled the upper side panel ... ???

Make sure all the levers and switches that are suppose to tell the copier that the panel is closed are closed.

If you have enough fingers, you might try to close all those switches manually. Secondly, you can test those switches if you can access them.

Otherwise, it is time to call the copier guy to fix.

Set up

Setting up the Copier
  1. Open the HP Color Copier product box and remove the User’s Guide. Review the information in the User’s Guide.
  2. Finish unpacking the HP Color Copier. This is best accomplished by resting the box on its side with the unit in the upright position. Pull the unit (foam and all) out of the box. Step 2: Unpacking the HP Color Copier c00222172.jpg
  3. Remove any tape or other packing materials from the unit. Be sure to check inside the machine by opening the cartridge access door.
  4. Verify that you have the power adapter, power cord, print cartridges. If any of these items are missing contact the HP Customer Care Center in your region.
  5. Set the HP Color Copier on a level surface large enough to support it fully.
  6. Load the paper supply tray with paper following the directions in the User's Guide.
  7. Verify that the paper tray is fully inserted into the HP Color Copier and that the rear access door in the back is in the locked position (the copies will be skewed or paper will misfeed if it is not fully locked). Step 7: Verifying that the rear access door is locked c00222173.jpg
  8. Owners of HP Color Copier 280 and 290 models should verify that the ADF (automatic document feeder) cable is securely plugged into the base unit and secured in the holding clip. Step 8: Checking the ADF cable c00222174.jpg
  9. Plug the power cord into the power adapter. Step 9 and 10: Connecting the power c00222175.jpg
  10. Plug the power adapter cable into the unit, then plug the power cord into a power source, preferably a wall outlet.
  11. Press the Power button on the right side of the front panel to power it up.
  12. Open the front panel to access the print carriage. Raise both cartridge latches after the print carriage comes to the center. Step 12: Opening the front panel and raising the cartridge latches c00222176.jpgc00222177.jpg
  13. Remove both print cartridges from their containers being careful to only touch the black plastic portions. CAUTION: Do not touch or remove the gold colored contacts.
  14. Carefully remove the tape that covers the print nozzles on the bottom end of the print cartridge. Step 14: Removing the protective tape c00222178.jpg
  15. One at a time, insert the cartridges into the print carriage and latch them into place. Step 15: Inserting the print cartridges c00222179.jpgc00222180.jpg
  16. Close the access door.
  17. Observe the display and confirm and/or set the language by entering the language code. The following steps will change the language on the front panel:
    1. Press MENU.
    2. Press 3, then 5.
    3. Scroll to the correct language and press ENTER.
  18. The display should read “Press ENTER to Align Cartridge”. Press the ENTER button on the front panel to accomplish this task. The self-alignment process will begin and an alignment page will be printed. Verify that each task has a green check mark beside it. Step 18: Ink cartridge alignment page c00222181.jpg

I have a peice of paper jam in the output area of the imagerunner 1670, but the machine dosn't open to allow access to this area. how do i get the paper jam resolved.

Your jam is in the fuser section of the machine. Unfortunately this area this area is not for users to access. You will need to remove covers to get to the fuser unit. You may be able to access the paper by removing the whole drum unit (make sure you remove the toner cartridge first). Then look into the machine to the left. You may see the tail end of the document for removal. Otherwise, you will eed a service manual to dis-assemble it yourself.
