Copier is located in an open area and we would like to keep others from accessing the copier. We want to give specific users access to the copier. Is there a way to set the copier up with a user codes?
On the display, check to see if there is a tools selection,
I believe "1111" is the code to get into it.
check to see if there is a aditron mode.
Select it and see if you can enter account numbers for each person or department. If you can you can enter amount of copy limits you can assign to the user or users
Most machines have a electronic aditron book in the bottom of the machine.
Good luck.
Well, most of the copiers are having dept code features where u can set access code for the copier. But the setting is depends on the brand & model.
For Windows XP users, click Start, then click Control Panel, then click Printers and other hardware, then click Printers and Faxes. For Windows Me, 98, and 95 users, select your printer, then click Properties on the File menu.
For Windows XP and 2000 users, select your printer, then click Printing Preferences on the File menu.
For Windows NT 4.0 users, select your printer, then click Document Defaults on the File menu.
The printer software opens.
