By this software you can delete completelly adobe product.
Then re-install photoshop.
If that message appears again, I suggest you just to re-install your OS (mac)

There is a software online called add/remove pro. the chances are that some of your prvious files have been left on your system and usually hide themselves for your protection. if you completely unistall the software through this free software then try to install it from the begginning it should be fine. we have the same sort of issue as i work for an advertising company. we see this issue quite a lot of the time in fresh installations.
Its the issue with the incompatibility of the upgrade with the existing CS2. Either adobe has to provide a patch to cope up with the upgrade or apple has to add it to their upgrades.
Better talk to adobe ppl.

better do a complete uninstall of the application on your unit. after you completely remove the application restart the PC and install it again.

here u can find how to remove CS2 ..after removing try to re install...
You will have to check out with adobe services as this is some software conflict problem.
You need a New CS2 software that support the MAC operating system.
