Mustek scanner will not work with vista

As no drivers for vista are available from mustek for my bearpaw 4800 ta pro . Is it possible somehow to get the scanner working ? or is it throw it in the bin time!

    ı have the same problem, how can ı solve this problem, isn't my scanner work with vista?

Mustek Bearpaw 4800ta proII need Vista/Windows 7 driver
Download from HERE (33.7 MB) or HERE (79MB)
These drivers are for Vista.
If you need them for Se7en - in setup.exe file properties point "Install in Vista compatibility". My Se7en accepted...

Are they drivers available for a BearPaw 1200 flat bed scanner so it will run on my new computor running MS Vista.

Packard bell branded Mustek Be@arpaw 1200CU+ scanner
FIRST and most important - uninstall any other attempts at scanner software using the control panel and add/remove software.
THen download and run this file: ftp://ftp.mustek.com.tw/pub/driver/BearPaw/1200CUPLUS/Windows/PS1G_WEB.exe

This works for my Packard Bell branded Mustek Bearpaw 1200CU+ scanner under XP Pro SP3.

On the same site Mustek also have Vista drivers available!!!!!
