I have had a BT250v for a few yeasr now (on my third, actually!). This problem would occasionally come up. Delete the profile from your phone, and start the pairing process all over again. I switch mine back and forth between me personall LG cell and my business blackberry. When I go from my cell to the bb, everything is fine, but I need to re-pair to get it back onto my cell.

How do i pair my jabra bt250 to my htc desire hd

Connecting a Bluetooth headset or car kit You can listen to music over a Bluetooth stereo headset, or have hands-free conversations using a compatible Bluetooth headset or car kit. It's the same procedure to set up stereo audio and hands-free.
  • For you to listen to music with your headset or car kit, the headset or car kit must support the A2DP Bluetooth profile.
  • Before you connect your headset, you need to make it discoverable so your phone can find it. You can find out how to do this by referring to your headset manual.
  1. From the Home screen, press MENU, and then tap Settings > Wireless & networks.
  2. Tap Bluetooth settings.
  3. If the Bluetooth check box is not selected, select it to turn Bluetooth on.
  4. Make sure that the headset is discoverable.
  5. Tap Scan for devices. Your phone will start to scan for Bluetooth devices within range.
  6. When you see the name of your headset displayed in the Bluetooth devices section, tap the name. Your phone then automatically tries to pair with the headset.
  7. If automatic pairing fails, enter the passcode supplied with your headset.
The pairing and connection status is displayed below the hands-free headset or car kit name in the Bluetooth devices section. When the Bluetooth headset or car kit is connected to your phone, the Bluetooth connected icon howtoimage.aspx?id=12046 is displayed in the status bar. Depending on the type of headset or car kit you have connected, you can then start using the headset or car kit to listen to music and/or make and receive phone calls.

- Place the battery back into your phone and power your phone on.
- Remove the headset from the AC cord.
- Turn off the headset by pressing the answer/end button until the light flashes rapidly then release.
- Press the answer/end button until you receive a solid blue light. This may take up to 10 seconds.
- Go into the Bluetooth menu on your cell phone and follow the cell phone’s instruction guide for pairing a Bluetooth headset. This generally involves going into a “devices” or “hands free” menu and adding a new device. CABLE & WIRELESS CWBTH160

To initiate pairing, put the devices within 0.5m of eachother

Make sure phone / pc bluetooth is on and discoverable
Make surea headset is fully charged

  1. Ensure headset is switched OFF
  2. Press and hold the talk button (big central button on front of headset) until the indicator flashes red & green alternately, then release. Headset now ready for pairing.
Note: Headset pairing mode will time out after 5 mins.
  3. To allow phone / pc to "find" the headset, consult your phone / pc bluetooth operating guide on pairing devices.
  4. Headset should be listed on phone / pc after search has finished - highlight and select the headset.
  5. A pin or password screen will appear, you must enter 0000 and confirm.
  6. When pairing is successful, headset indicator will change to green and flash continuously every 3 seconds.
Pairing is then complete.

Note: Multi-pairing.
It is possible to pair up to two phones with the headset - the most recently paired phone becomes the "primary "phone... only one phone can be connected at a time --> this function only works in Hands-Free profile. If both phones are in range, then the headset will connect to the "primary" phone first.
