Messages has stopped unexpectedly - HTC Inspire 4G Smartphone

Turn the phone off and u have to do a hard reset on the phone and then it will work like its brand new like it did when you got it out of the box

my lg optimus swift is not working correctly. when i turn on the phone, sometimes it displays this sorry! the application Android Phone (process com.android.phone) has stopped unexpectedly. And it not receiving or sending any calls with the signal only dropping.

did you install additional apps for messaging? try uninstall them.

also, try reboot the x8 and see.

in a very unlikely case, the firmware is kaput. get se to reflash for you.

I would preform a factory reset (note: this will erase all messages, contacts, settings, apps, etc.). To do a factory reset, go to: 'Home' > 'Settings' > 'SD card & phone storage,' then select 'Factory data reset.'

Try taking the Battery out for 20 sec. then reinstall and try again.

is this problem with your skype?if yes
I hope I found the solution for this problem:
Do uncheck all the items in "alerts&messages >
Notifications/Notification settins/Allerts&messages

Please refer to manual and run system restore to system default settings as if it was from the package.

the problem is in ur operating system just reinstall it ..it would not show any messages trust me
