Remote control touch screen is not working - Nakamichi SoundSpace 12 System

    Just got the soundspace12, it's new, and I inserted batteries came with the new product but the touch screen doesn't work. so I bought new batteries but still doesn't work. whatelse I can try to solve this...

    Do you have the user manual to show you how to recalibrate the screen?

Flip ipen the front face of the remote control so that you have access to the buttons underneath. Press and hold the "light" button on the outside right of the remote while pressing the "enter" button to the right of the number "1" button.

THIS WON'T WORK IF YOU HIT THE "enter" BUTTON BETWEEN THE ARROW KEYS.

The screen should now flash PRESS and VCR 2 - press the onscreen key marked VCR 3.

The screen should now flash PRESS aqnd OSD - press the onscreen key marked OSD.

Test all of the onscreen keys. If you find them still unaligned, repeat the process.

Try changing the batteries the ones that operate the touch screen may be flat once you fit new batteries you may have to calibrate the screen again follow the instructions in the manual

How to shut off manually

UN55D6400UF TV Will Not Power Off If your TV is on but will not power off when you press the power button, you could be having an issue with your remote control or a faulty circuit inside your TV.
To determine the source of your problem, follow these steps:
  1. Power the TV on if it is off.

      • If the TV powers off with the remote but does not power off with the power button on the TV there could be an issue with the touch sensor on the TV. Before setting your unit up for service try these two things.
        1. Try sliding your finger accross the power button.
        2. Have other people try using the touch buttons on the TV.
        3. If either of these two options work then there is not an issue with the touch sensor on the TV. There are many variable that can limit the conductivity of a persons fingers. The conductivity of your fingers might not be enough to easily control the touch sensor on the TV.
        4. If the TV does not power off when you press either the POWER button on the TV or on the remote control, then the TV will need to be serviced. Click the Create online service request button below to have the TV repaired.

I dropped my RTI T3 remote and now the touch screen went blank (white light). Touch screen works, but icons are gone. I tried taking out the battery to reset, but still no icons. Help!

T3s and T2-Cs are very delicate and often go to the White Screen of Death WSoD when dropped. (a play on the term BSoD from windows)

The remote needs to be serviced to fix this. If you explain the remote goes to white screen when you call RTI they will understand.

Touch screen display broken

HI! Here's what to do if your Logitech Harmony remote's LCD screen has gone blank.


1. Remove the battery, press and hold the 'OFF' button, and re-insert the battery. The screen will display 'Safe Mode!', or the 'Activities' button will be lit.

2. Connect your remote to the computer.

3. Launch the Harmony Remote Software, and log in.

4. Click "Downloads" at the top and click "Firmware".

5. The remote will go through the firmware update.

6. Select "Yes", and click NEXT to update the remote.



If the screen is still blank after you complete these steps, then it is a hardware issue and you should contact Logitech's wonderful support team, given that the remote is still under warranty. If you are not in warranty, Logitech does not provide repair services for Harmony products.

All of a sudden my "Touch screen" does not work!

My older garmin came with a remote and my touch screen went bad. So in order for me to use it at all, I have to use the remote control.

All you need to do is updaye the firmware.

1. Connect the remote and launch the software
2. Click 'Downloads' at the top
3. Click 'Firmware'
4. Update the remote

TAKE OUT THE BATT AND PUT IT BACK IN THIS WILL REBOOT YOUR CONTROLL YOU SHOULD ALSO UPDATE YOUR SOFTWARE AND FRAMEWARE THIS WORKS
