I am a Franke technician. After and possibly during the descale, because probably you haven'nt done it in a long time, steam was able to escape through the fittings as the limescale damaged the silicone rings beforehand. The steam damaged the klixxons or the thermoblock itself. You will need one of us unfortunately....
Have done this but it was about a year or so ago and i just dont remember,sorry about that but at my age i remember things from years ago but cannot remember what i had for breakfast .The knob on the end should unscrew then go from their,at the base is some bushes as i remember and i changed them ,it was on a rental vehicle from arrow cars but i just cannot remember the sequence ,just have a good look cuppa in one hand ,ciggy in the other and have a good look is i can suggest .
If there is only one sensor faulty you should be able to replace that one.If for any reason one abs wheel sensor cannot connect to the abs system reader it stopes working.It means your brakes working just as fine but the Anti Block System is not functioning anymore.Your car will certainly pass the mot without ABS.
