Hi,

To move the handle bar (either for folding or to change into the off-road mode) push the small white button in (located on the inside of the handle bar) and pull both triggers toward you (also located on the inside of the handle bar - on either side) This will enable the handle bar to move.

I hope this helps.

Front end lube

Look for small threaded plugs and remove them and install grease fittings. If that doesn't improve the turn effort you may have a defective power steering pump or a defective steering rack and pinion

Mudding 4x4

This is because the 1500 series is considered light duty regardless of whether it is 2x4 or 4x4. When you add the large mud tires and wheels to the vehicle, that alone stresses the hubs and transfer cases. Add in the overevvving and sudden start-stop jolts of mudding, and you have all the making of drive train failure. If you want to play big boy games, get big boy equipment.

Hey, I have a 2009 kx450, ive run into a major problem, I cant find the compression stroke, I had to pull off the case cover, the thing next to the shifter, I have both cams off and I dont want to realign...

Y ou F ed up big time with the shim. Try flushing the crankcase with the drain open and use a magnet or magnetize a peice of metal wire and try to fish it out if not you will have to split the cases. The rest is no big deal as long as you know where # 1 cylinder is and the cams are installed so the valves work you set up on # 1 and every should fall into place. good luck

Were is the drain plug for the radiator located? Do you have to take the splash shield off to get to it?

Anything on the radiator is difficult to get to. I usually remove the small hose that goes from the overflow bottle into the lower radiator hose to drain the cooling system. If you look at the passanger side of the car in front of the wheel down at the bottom you will see where the lower rad hose goes into the radiator there is a tee where the small hose from the overflow tank comes in, remove the pinch clamp and pull the hose off, have a big pan ready because it will come out fast! Good luck. P.S. Please dont do this with the engine hot!

How difficult is it to replace the drive axles on a Honda Accord by yourself? Should I also replace the oil seal at the same time? Somewhat mechanical, but never tackled something this big.

For some one that is mechanicaly inclined it would be a 3 out of 5 in the diffculty scale. You should be able to handle it if you feel comfortable with it. It invloves removing the brake pads and rotor. Releasing the lower ball joint from the control arm, and using a puller to seperate the shaft from the wheel bearing. If everthing goes fine up to this point, I would change the seal. Otherwise, I would only change it if there was a leak.

Starter cord

sure, no problem. this is the easiest way:

first remove the starter housing, usually only 3 or 4 bolts or screws. on the inside should be a large white or black wheel, hold the outer case with one hand and rotate the wheel counter-clockwise with the other as many times as can without force. on the inside of the wheel should be a small hole, rotate the wheel to line it up with rope guide hole on the outer case/housing. use a nail or small screwdriver to help hold in place. then feed the start rope through the 2 holes and tie a knot at the end, single or double depending on the size of the hole. if the end of the rope is frayed, use lighter to melt it a little and twist to a point to make it easier to handle. when reassembling you may need to jiggle the handle for realignment. it works on an inner spring coil tensioner system, so if the cable has no tension when rotated or doesn't recoil back, i suggest replacing the whole starter assembly because the coil spring is extremely difficult to replace by itself. thanks for using fixya.com. if you have any other qestions or need further assistance, just let me know and i'll be happy you. happy holidays

How do you fold down the quinny zapp

the steps are numbered 123 on the stroller. press the big round button numbered 1 on the right side (i think), which is located where the handle meets the main part of the stroller. Press the big round button numbered 2 on the other side. After you press button 2, you should be able to fold the handles (both of them together) forward, swinging the handlebars out in an arc until they're nearly touching the front wheel, on the ground. Now, step 3 is the difficult one--you've got to release the catch numbered 3 (underneath the seat, directly beneath where the baby's bottom goes) and then slide the ring forward, along the rod underneath the seat, toward the front wheel. If you can get it going, the rest will happen very smoothly, and the stroller will fold very compactly. It's difficult to describe, but once you get it, it's a cinch after a little practice. Good luck!
