SOURCE: Where to get LCD screen for panasonic TC-32LE60 TV ?
Hi there, the only close part you could get is the actual cabinet. the actual screen will have to be shipped by the manufacture itself. these screens are filled with a liquid that is dangerous and has to be installed in a OSHA approved shop.

Hi.
I see this all the time.
What you have is capacitor failure.
Sometimes with flat screen tv's, the capacitors will give out without notice.
They will be good one minute, and give out the next.
Unfortunately, this can be an expensive thing to repair.
This is due to the tv's requiring special capacitors to power the system properly.
I don't know how many capacitors are burnt out, so I can't give you an estimate as to repair costs.
I do know, however, that it can sometimes be more cost effective to purchase a new tv rather than have repairs done to an older tv.
There are 2 companies that have specialists trained to do this repair work: Fry's, and BestBuy.
I would take it to whichever is closest, and get an estimate, that way you can decide if it is cost effective to do repairs, or if you should just get a new one.
I know this wasn't what you were expecting, but sadly it's the way it is.
All of these tv's failing is because they made a ton of the capacitors back in the 1990's, and they were almost all junk.
Then the parts sat on shelves for 5, 10, 15 years, and then when someone got a repair done, they got the old parts.
The tv industry didn't correct the problem until June of 2010, so any tv made before that has the potential for capacitor failure.
Capacitors for tv's are supposed to last around 25-30 years, but all these junky ones that were made had around 18 months to 7 years as their life expectancy.
I hope this has cleared things up for you, and that it helped you out some today.
Good luck to you.
