No mist comes out of the diffuser. I have tried putting the glass dome so the hole is opposite the ventillation attachment but still does nothing. Does it even have any benefits running the diffuser if there is no mist being emitted?

To replace the Bertazzoni hood light cover diffuser, follow these steps:
Turn off the power to the hood.
Remove the light bulb from the socket.
Grasp the cover and push up slightly while turning it counterclockwise to release it from the hood.
Clean the cover and diffuser with a damp cloth.
Insert the diffuser into the cover and align the tabs on the cover with the slots in the hood.
Push the cover up into the hood and turn it clockwise until it is securely in place.
Insert a new bulb into the socket and turn the power back on.
If the cover still falls down after following these steps, try adjusting the alignment of the tabs on the cover and the slots in the hood. You can also try cleaning the tabs and slots to ensure a better fit. If the cover still does not stay in place, it may be damaged and need to be replaced.
I am having the same problem. I have no misting at all, only music and colors. I am going to try moving the glass spout so it's opposite the plastic spout--i read that somewhere. I'm also going to start over again with filtered water. I had gotten into the habit of just reflilling and adding more oils. hope this works and helps you too!!
One solution to try is putting the phone in a Ziploc bag along with some silica gel which absorbs moisture. It can be found for cheap online through many retailers http://www.silicagelpackets.com/silica-gel-packets is one of many options.
Other than that you can try leaving out in the sun or under a lamp and hope it dries out but without taking off the screen you don't have a whole lot of options unfortunately.
Most light domes twist on or off or have thumb screws to loosen and lower the dome.It sounds like you removed the light kit assembly instead of the dome.Try to put back by twisting in place the light kit assembly and look for screws,or hold back on trim and turn just glass dome do not use too much force .I checked web site but can't find your model.It is unusual to not be able to just remove glass dome.Look closely at how the glass dome is positioned. If no screws are visible either the glass part unscrews or the ring unscrews allowing glass dome to be removed.Good Luck.I have installed many ceiling fans the problem is if you didn't install it your at a disadvantage.GOOD LUCK.
Under the rear cover or under a small cap on the end opposite the shaft will be the shaft end and it should have a slot or key hole. Use a screwdriver or allen wrench to secure the shaft and then turn off the impeller.
make sure the diffusion dome and the built in wide angle adaptor are off. If the diffusion dome is on, it will only work as 14mm and 17mm without the diffuser but with the wide angle panel.
The demineralzation cartaridge seems to be the issue. Remove it and see it the misting starts. If it does put a hole in the center cylinderical support of the demineralzation cartaridge, the one that fits over the white positioning post that is built into the base of the humidifier. This will allow the cartirdge to sink to the bottom and not interfer with the water tank plunger opening up and filling the base.I opened the hole completly but I think a smaller hole will do.
