i think the fuser units lamp is gone

remove the toner/drums and transfer belt. on the right side is the reg rollers. there is a black arm and sensor the detects the paper weight etc there. that will control the paper sense errors, make sure it moves freeley, clear of paper, dust etc.

remove drum units and clean optical sensors located at the back end of he drum slots and clean corresponding reflective plates on drum units

Exactly what is the error on the operator panel?

remove the software of this print and install it back the first thing the second thing is to change cable leading from your printer to your PC

Check to confirm that Image Drum is seated properly.
Check to confirm that the K ID
unit is in position.
Replace the K ID unit.
Replace the K ID motor.

A fatal error 917 means there is a problem regarding the belt **** sensor.

Usually it means the printer can't see the transfer belt rotating.

First thing to try is to remove and re install the transfer belt, if that does not work you should replace the transfer belt.

let me know your error codes, i may be able to asist....
disconnect the power cord, open back panel(hinged door and connecting panel(2 screws). check the security of all the connectors on the 2 main circuit boards.
also on the RH board, pull out and reinsert the memory chipsets, to make sure they have good contact..

then repower up...see what happens..
