ADMIN PASSWORD RESET FOR NORTEL T7316E SYSTEM

Default Password Code is "admin" on your phone dial... Done by pressing 23646 on your phone dial...

Time feature is accessed by inputting **8463 = (**TIME)

Try using FEATURE **2223772 2223772#. This is the access server admin. There might be a path there to reset passwords. On the MICS side use FEATURE **266344 266344# to access the system programming and password reset features. feature 985 shows you your vm extension #.
feature 983 then try 1029999 (if password was changed to 9999 or something else)
or maybe feature 983 then 738662 'ok' then 266344 'ok'. depending on the norstar system you have.
these are some codes to enter the vm management. What are you trying to do, reset a vm password or other system programming?

Feature 983 log in is 120000 (if 2 digit extension, 1020000 if 3 digit, 10020000 if 4 digit extensions)
Select Mbox, enter that locked extensions mail box number, You will see password RESET. Select RESET. Release out. This will reset that mail box password to 0000. Use feature 981 on that phone and enter the new default password of 0000. you will then be prompted to change the password.

Feature 985 will show you your mailbox extension

You can go to any T7316e phone and do this , press feature 983 when you see log on the screen enter 102 0000 to log on with or 12 0000 this is the default admin password for the voice mail system . it depends if you have a 3digit extension of 2 digit . when you get in you will see three options on the screen above the three buttons , from left to right it will be mbox aa and other press the mbox button then it will give you three more options again from left to right they will be add delete and change press change , it will ask for the extension number , enter the number of your extension . the thing it will ask you is if you want to reset the password , press yes and the press the the red rels button your password is now reset to 0000 . good luck .

How to Change a Mailbox Password 1. To access the voice mail system press Feature.
2. Press 9 8 3.
3. When you see Log: enter ~ SETNNA (738662) and press OK
4. Pswd: CONFIG (266344)
5. Press "MBOX".
6. Press "CHNG".
7. Enter the mailbox number you wish to reset.
8. Press "Reset".
9. Press "Rls" to exit (orange button to the right of the number buttons).
Default password is "0000".
