Is it normal for liquid to be present in the top part of the drum?

Took the drum out and tilted it to the side and heard a gargling sound as though liquid was displacing itselt in the top part of the drum

Yes I have this type of washer and it has the water in a ring at the top of the drum to help balance it out during spin, not quite sure why but yes it should be there. The gargling sound you describe could also be the balancing hooks that attach the drum to the top of the washer which sometimes make strange noises but there fine.

Kenmore elite HE 4t washer model 110.45088400. drum is not on track. How do i get it back on track? There is also now a sound like something is loose, maybe the counterweight?

i don't know what you mean by off track, but if the washer is noisy in the spin cycle you have a broken spider gear, how far did you tilt it,i never heard of that, you put some towels down, loosen the middle of the pump and when the water starts to come out you use a shop vac to catch the water, you don't want to tilt it because if something is in the pump you don't want it to slide back inside the hose you want it out,you can take the top off and there are two springs one on each side that holds up the tub and hooks onto the side of the frame or you might have damaged one of the shocks on the bottom, these are the things i would check but if it's loud in the spin the spider gear is broken from overloading and using to much soap,if you have an oder in the washer that's also from the soap, the metal on the gear is soft and the soap eats at it.if it's the gear you'd be better off getting a new washer,it's a big repair and expensive.hope this helps

Where do i find the drain plug on whirlpool duet washer

You have to be more specific. Is the machine not draining? It drains under the drum which has a tendency to clog over time from lint etc. There is a catch screen but that can become clogged also. You can tilt the machine forward to access the bottom. On the right side you'll see the black drain hose. If there is water in the machine, be careful tilting it forward as the water may run out. If you want to access the drain from inside, you have to remove the drum. As the drum has a tendency to stick to the shaft, you halve to use a piece of 2"X4" and a scissor jack or bottle neck hack on the shaft to lift it off of the shaft. To access the drum you first need to tilt the top back off first. They is two spring clips located approx. 6 inch in on either side under the top piece. Use a narrow putty knife to locate them and push them in and up. The back of the top is hinged so be careful tilted it back. when you push on the clip lift up on the top part of the machine at the same time. Good luck.

Replace blower belt

unplug it,open the door, remove the two phillips screws that hold the door on and remove the other two on the other side, remove the door and pull the front panel off, just tilt the top of panel out, remove the four 5/16 inch screws that hold the front bulkhead on,then remove the top screws and the L bracket on top, remove the front bulkhead, pop off the metal wire holder on the right side and stick the bulkhead on the right side of the machine so you can remove the drum, lift the top panel up a few inches and slide out the drum, you'll see the mark on the drum from the old belt, put the belt on the drum ribs down against the drum, slide the drum back in,grab the belt, put it under the belt pulley, pull the pulley over to the motor and connect the belt on the motor shaft, put the dryer back together the same way you took it apart, you'll notice two short screws, they go into the holes that have a space around the hole, one goes in the bottom and then the other opposite side up top.hope this helps.

I have a GE select top loading washing machine that is about 12 years old. When lifting up the lid you notice the drum is off to the side . Its as if the drum is detached from something. I can move the...

What you describe sounds kind of normal, the drum is suspended by three hangers and is allowed to seek it's own "center". If the machine is not LEVEL, you will see what you describe. Even so, not necessarily an issue, unless the drum assembly hits the machine housing.

Try placing a level on the machine and level it up. THE FINAL step is to tilt the machine forward, releasing both back feet, and let the machine back down. This should set the rear "self leveling" legs, correctly. The machine should be stable.

The ability to move the drum side to side by hand is normal and okay.

Just purchased my first Westinghouse VR4085DF 40" LCD HDTV on Black Friday. Great TV - Great Price! The only problem so far is the sound. Sometimes the sound will suddenly get 'blotchy' to where it's...

Poor signal will give that type of sound error because the processor is trying to build, as it does the pisture, a good sound track. Normally though the picture may pixellate at the same time.

Whirlpool LER5620KQ1 - Dryer makes a clunking sound when running

It may be that one of the plastic pieces inside the trum has somthing under it. Coins of other things can get under them. You will have to tilt the top back so you can get to them. Unscrew 3 screws in each of them remove them and check them . Watch how you took it out so they can be put back just like they came out.
Take a putty knife and run it between the top and the front panel not far from the corner and push the two clips back one on each side. Raize the top up and brace it. Unhook the door switch take the two 5/16 screws out of the top of the front panel and pull the front panel toward you and lift it off the clips at the bottom. Put something under the front of the drum to hold it up while you take off the belt. On the right side reach under the drum and push the idler pully to the right and take the belt off the motor pully. Now you can take the drum and belt out. You could start the motor with the belt off and see if the motor is making the noise. Don't run too long. Now you can check the idler pully, the rollers the drum rides on in the back the felt on the front panel and the back of the drum. Also check the belt Be sure and mark how everything came off and put back just like it came off. Hope this helps

Remove back of drier after disconnecting the power cord. Find old belt laying on floor under machine. Obtain new belt and place around drum and motor pulley. done

Gargled Sound Problem

Gargled sound is nothing but it is unsupported applications with your leappy sound card.
But this is not true always.
first you check it by unstalling your sound driver and install it again.
if problem remains then your lappy is unsupported with those applications with gargled sound or corrupt if shows gargled sound with all applications.
you should try it with different working driver also.
