No. Windows softwares can not be installed on BlackBerry 10 devices. For Windows 8 apps, if there is a BlackBerry 10 version (or in some cases and Android version) then you will be able to download or side-load the application, but BlackBerry 10 nor any other mobile OS can run Windows based software.

How to install an blackberry bold software to asus eee pc

Go on http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/ and select what kind of operating system you have (Windows or Mac). After download, install your software.
After install restart your computer, and when your pc is on then connect your BB via usb. (this software wil check your BB software verion an will update if its necessary)

My BB pearl 8110 keeps rebooting on its own.

  1. Right-click the Windows Taskbar.
  2. Select Task Manager.
  3. Select windows installer from the Applications tab.
  4. Click End Task.
  5. Perform a clean uninstall of the BlackBerry Desktop Software.
  6. Reboot the computer.
  7. Reinstall the BlackBerry Desktop Software.
Follow the trouble shooting steps for uninstall of the BlackBerry Desktop Software.

My Blackberry Curve 8320 does NOT have Blackberry Messenger

If you want to install Blackberry Messenger on handheld do the following steps :
  1. Download the latest BlackBerry Device Software from your service provider's web site.
  2. Install the BlackBerry Device Software onto a computer that has BlackBerry Desktop Manager installed on it.
  3. Connect your BlackBerry device to the computer.
  4. From BlackBerry Desktop Manager, double-click Application Loader and follow the instructions in the Application Loader Wizard to install the BlackBerry Messenger application.
