Feed paper light stays on, and paper doesn't feed through

I have the same printer. Likely a Paper jam. Remove the Paper feed tray, the toner, open all the doors and rear bypass door and check.

I fixed my printer problem by searching youtube for my problem. i viewed a video and was able to fix my problem. Fixed my dryer the same way.

My work-around for this problem is to feed paper in manually through the front. I turn the printer off and make sure all paper is out of the printer. When you turn the printer on - and the blue light stays lit (if it doesn't turn it off and wait - I've had to wait quite some time sometimes).. then manually feed 1 sheet of paper in the manual feed tray at the front. When the paper is inserted... you should be fine to print - and keep feeding paper in until you get your job. If you miss - you might need to hit the "continue" (triangle button)..
I've been trying to find out why mine locks up - and why it keeps jamming - but this is a tried and proven menthod - althought it is annoying it might help you for now.. Good luck

THERE IS TWO REASONS. PICKUP SENSOR PROBLEM OR IN THE FIXING UNIT HEATER SECTION PROBLEM. SOMETIMES HEATING ELEMENT BURNED. CHECK THE BOTH ITEMS .

clear paper feed roller whit wet cloth or alcohol,
1. remove paper tray
2. look for paper feed roller just in bottom of printer.
3. clear it as i said early

if there is paper in the tray..and paper won't feed up after you press print, that mean paper is jam... but for this model, you have to make sure the drum unit is clean as dirty drum unit will cause paper not able to feed,..
suggest clean up the internal part of the printer and test again.. use a slightly wet cloth to clean the feed roller.. too much dust will cause it not to feed properly.

Needs paper feed tire - must be replaced by a tech.

*****First of all, UNPLUG the shredder. Paper dust blocks the sensor (makes it think there is paper being feed). Compressed air NO OIL blow it out should solve your problem

Slipping paper feed rollers is probably causing the jamming. Remove the paper tray and tip the machine back so that you can access the feed rollers from underneath. A good technique to isolate this problem is to remove the rubber feed tires, turn them inside-out and refit them. If it now works OK you need to get new feed rollers.

The feed switch changes the paper feed from rear feed to tray feed (paper tray is under the output bin). If you have paper in the rear feed, the green light should be on top of the printer icon left of the feed switch. If you have paper in the tray, the light should be on the bottom of the printer icon.
