ok well iam very familiar with bsd and that is a form of a virus and to check that you might consider running diagnostics and see what you come back with. If this comes back with somthing then you need to re install the bios system(meaning putting the operating system back on again and when you have that software just hit F 12 when booting and select boot to disk.

Blue screen

BSOD may be occur in different reasons ,
check minidump in c:\windows\minidumps analysis the file on web which explains what is the issue.
tip

How to View Windows Minidump Files

First of all, you need to configure Windows to save these important log files. Most of the time, this is already done automatically, however follow these steps to make sure these log files are being saved.

1) Click on Start

2) Right-click on My Computer

3) Click on Properties

4) In Windows XP , click on the Advanced tab. In Windows Vista , click on the Advanced System Systems option on the left side of the screen.

5) Under Startup and Recovery, Click on the Setting button

6) Under the System Failure section, you'll see the options for the memory dump file. Write an event to the system log should be checked along with Send an Administrative Alert. The debugging information should be set to the Small Memory dump (64K) and generally the Small Dump Directory is set to %SystemRoot%\Minidump. In most cases this is the C:\Windows\Minidump directory.

As far as the third check box is concerned, if this is checked the computer will automatically restart when a blue screen error message is encountered. So, if your computer is booting into Windows, then rebooting automatically most likely you are getting some sort of blue screen error message and its forcing the computer to restart. If you uncheck this box, then the message itself will appear so you can retrieve important details about the error.

Download and Installing the Debugging Tools to Read Minidump Files

In order to view the Minidump files, you have to download the following tools.

Debugging Tools for Windows including WinDbg

Although most of the time its not necessary, you can download the Symbol packages as well as the Debugging Tools so you can read the Minidump logs easier. Once you've downloaded the Debugging Tools for the correct version of Windows and installed them, open the WinDbg program by following these steps.

1) Click on Start
2) Click on All Programs
3) Click on Debugging Tools for Windows group
4) Click on WinDbg to open

The screen should look similar to the one below.

Deciphering the Minidump Files

In the WinDbg program, click on File, then click on Open Crash Dump

Browse to the following directory on your hard drive and open a minidump log. The drive letter will be whichever drive you installed Windows on. In most cases, this is drive C.

C:\Windows\Minidump

After you open a minidump file in WinDbg, scroll to the bottom of the file. You should see a line that says Probably caused by:, followed by a filename. This is the problem file. In my case the file was related to the ELock Program in the Acer Empowering Technology set of tools. I simply uninstalled this program from the computer and the blue screen and problem went away.

Probably caused by : eLock2FSCTLDriver.sys ( eLock2FSCTLDriver+11332 )

Although you may not recognize the file that is causing the problem, it definitely helps in tracking down a solution for the blue screen error message and resolving the issues.

Missing C:\Windows\Minidump\122513-59685-01.dmp

probably dump file was deleted or dump file creation was interrupted , reason for a missing file or an empty file name.Another file of the same nature may be created again if the same blue screen message appears again for the same problem.

Technical info: *** STOP: 0x000000A5 (0x00001000, 0x00000000, 0x96408500,0x00000100) What does this mean?,

Here's a nice tool to decipher BSOD errors. If you can get into Windows it will grab all your C:\Windows\MiniDump files and display them for you to see what the root cause of the BSOD was.
If you got this while installing Windows on a machine, what age is the machine and what version of Windows is it?
The A5 error seems to be related to your BIOS not supporting the OS that is being installed. If the machine was a Windows ME desktop and you're putting WinXP on it, then you either have to update/flash the BIOS, or the machine is too old to use the power management features of the new OS and is crashing trying to figure out how to use them.

I have an acer that will go to a blue screen after I type in the password then it restarts itself over again the same thing!

Blue screen errors, or blue screen of death (BSOD) errors, are the most severe errors Windows can encounter. Since Windows can not recover from this kernel level error, a blue screen is displayed with the error details. The error details contain a STOP error code, which indicates the type of error.

There are a lot of possible causes for blue screen errors, but most of them relate to the computer hardware. The cause of a BSOD error can be a temperature problem, a timing error, a resource conflict, hardware failure, a corrupt registry, a virus or simply a device incompatibility or driver error.

How to analyze blue screen errors

The first thing to do to analyze a blue screen error is to check the meaning of the STOP error code. You need to stop Windows from rebooting when a STOP error is encountered. Once the blue screen of death is shown, you can check the meaning of the STOP error code. Together with the filename of the driver or module, this will give an indication of the error cause.

Another option to analyze the cause of the blue screen error is to look at the Windows system event log or to debug the memory dump (minidump) that Windows created when the error occurred. The event log can be viewed using the event viewer. Right-click Computer in the Start menu, and then select Manage. In the Computer Management window select Event Viewer. The information in the event log can be of great help to isolate the cause of the blue screen error.

Reading the minidump requires a bit more technical knowledge, but Microsoft has tools to read the minidump.

The most common cause of blue screen errors

In reality, the most common cause of blue screen errors is a device driver problem. Outdated, incorrect or corrupt drivers can cause the system to encounter a STOP error, resulting in the BSOD.

So the easiest way to try and fix a blue screen error is to reinstall and update your system's device drivers. This will ensure that all driver bugs are fixed and that all hardware has the correct driver.

If you know which device caused the error, you can update or reinstall that driver first. The file name in the blue screen of death can help identify the driver. Look for a file with the .SYS extension and search for that file name.

If you do not have the drivers for all devices, or are not comfortable updating your PC's drivers manually, you can use a driver update tool to find, download and update all device drivers for you. Such tools will accurately identify your computer hardware, including any device causing an error, and automatically install the latest drivers for it.

In most cases updating or reinstalling drivers will solve your blue screen errors.

Other causes of blue screen errors

However, if updating device drivers does not fix the blue screen error, there are a number of additional things to try:

Load the default BIOS values - resource conflicts and timing issues can be caused by incorrect BIOS settings.

Update the BIOS - especially after adding new hardware or installing a Windows service pack this can help fix issues.

Update Windows - missing updates, including service packs can be a source of stop errors.

Check your system - run a virus scan and spyware scan after updating your definition files.

Driver rollback - if you have recently updated a driver, you can use the driver rollback to revert back to the previous driver version.

hope it helps, if so rate the solution
