1999 ford expedition factory amp im trying to replace with aftermarket amp

First you have to locate the factory amp, find output plug then find each wire and run to your new amp. Your basically bypassing old amp. your left front, red with white stripe is possitive. Brown is negative. Right front possitive is green. Negative white/ orange, left rear possitive light blue/black, negative yellow, right rear possitive is purple/white, right rear negative is light blue. Good luck :)

Hi i trying to figure out how to wire up my rca's i have a pionner deck in on the back of it it has front output,rear output,sub output ,and also a audio output .now im trying to up it to a clarion eq that...

The "Front output" from the Pioneer deck would connect to the "Main In" on the Clarion EQ. I'm assuming that your Clarion EQ can only deal with one input, and will send the adjusted (equalized) signal out both of the outputs.
The "Front output" from the Clarion EQ should go to the "Front Input" on the 4 channel amp.
The "Rear output" from the Clarion EQ should go to the "Rear Input" on the 4 channel amp.
The "Sub output" from the Pioneer deck would connect to the Left/Right Input on the Epicenter. The Left/Right Output on the Epicenter would need a Y-splitter for each side, so that you could connect each amp separately. One suggestion would be to use one sub amp for both subs.

I need the wiring colour codes for 2002 santa fe car stereo

Hi,

Basically the wiring of the large harness corresponds to the pins like this.

Starting in the upper right hand corner and working down the right side from A12 down to A1.

1=Left rear output-red
2=Left rear output-blue
3=Right rear output-black
4=Right rear output-yellow
5=empty
6=Left front input-black
7=Left front input-yellow
8=Left rear input-orange
9=Left rear input-green
10=Amp 'ON'-blue&orange
11=empty
12=Amp sensor-black&orange

Back up to upper left hand corner on the large plug

13=Right front tweeter output-red
14=Right front tweeter output-blue
15=Left front tweet output-red
16=Left front tweeter output-blue
17=empty
18=Right front input-red
19=Right front input-white
20=Right rear input-blue
21=Right rear input-red
23=Right front sub (+) output-yellow
24=Right front sub (-) output-black

The small harness is the same above with the upper right position being pin 1 going down to pin 4 then back up to the top for pin 5 down to pin 8.

1=Memory Power-Lrg White
2=Amp Ground- Lrg Black
3=Left front sub (+)output-yellow
4=Left front sub (-) output-black
5=Left front mid (+) output-white
6=Left front mid (-) output-brown
7=Right front mid (-)output-brown
8=Right front mid (+) output-white

Hope this will help you.

Thank you

I have a 5.1 speaker setup. i have a 5.1 sony dvd amp. a ps3 and a old toshiba tv. ( the one with the orange white red plug in the back. i wanna hook up 3 speakers for front and the subwofer. how do i do...

So, you don't want to use the TV speakers, right? Hook your PS3 audio output RCA jacks to the input on the amplifier and hook the PS3 video cabe to the yellow (orange) video input of the TV. Then hook your speakers to the front or rear outputs of the amp and the sub to the sub output of the amp. If you want to use your TV speakers, you can connect them to the front or back output of the amp for a 4.1 setup. OK?

Do not have a sub output on receiver /do not know which wire to plug into the amp sub input/5 channel amp /have rca output for front and rear speakers

Hello southernbike,

With a 5-channel amp (stereo L/R front, stereo L/R rear, and subwoofer) you only need the two pair of stereo inputs.

You do not say which brand and model of amp you have, but most have an output configuration similar to the Alpine shown in this link. Connect the front and rear RCA's from your receiver, your vehicle speakers to the respective output terminals, and your subwoofer to the 5th channel terminals.

Hope this helps.
